I was reading Acts just now! And I wrote down the names Enoch and Elijah… because of this verse: the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away from the eunuch. Semantically so similar to ENOCH! I’m growing my faith with the lord as much as I can. I’ve had a traumatic childhood and I’ve learned lessons and now that I’m older I always prepare for the worse and I know I need to give all my worries and stress to the lord, and I know this is the devil trying to get in my head but I fear for being too much for the lord. And I know nothing is too much for the lord I know the lord wants me to turn to him and I do all the time it just feels like the devil keeps trying to tell me I’m a burden for the lord. I don’t know how to explain it. Daniel please do a video on this topic. I struggle with it everyday. I love the lord with all my heart I know he takes care of all things. And he wants me to turn to him. I just don’t want to be a burden to anyone especially for the lord. And again I know that’s not how my God is. I just need help with scripture. Hello, I understand you, that happened to me when I was a kid around 13 to 15. I suffered for 2 years. Now I am 17 and I dont have the voice in my head anymore. I left the voice in my head through video games, basketball, hanging out with my friends and also praying to God. If you aren't baptized, you should be baptized. Baptizing helped me a lot, I mean a looooottt. You can do those if you want. Also read the Bible, it helps you. The devil attacks you because you are too close to God, and God has big plans for you and the devil is trying to break the plan that God has for you. Stay strong my brother, you aren't alone, don't be afraid because God is with you and is always with you.
I’ve started reading the bible but to be honest it’s hard work trying to understand it. It is my belief He wants it to be hard to understand... at first. As we continue to grow in Christ God reveals more of Himself to us. He doesn't want "once and done" followers, but those that spend time in relationship with Him as a lifelong relationship, learning about Him, getting to know Him and loving Him.
Remember: We were created to be companions and share our lives with him.
Most of us spend so much time chasing things of this world that will mean NOTHING to us in a few short years when we take our last breath and go into eternity. We are all eternal... the question is: "Where and how will you spend eternity?"

As the angel told Daniel in Dan. 12, there is only 1 reason why ppl in the last days won't understand scripture: they are wicked. That's what it boils down to. It is written in Psa. 111:10 that a person who lives by God's commandments will have the understanding. The Bible can't be understood simply by reading it like it's just another book. If you don't understand, it's because you're not living by God's commandments.

I've always wondered if the two who appeared with Jesus at His transfiguration were Enoch and Elijah, not Moses and Elijah. Yes, Enoch and Elijah could be the two faithful witnesses, but we won't know unless the Lord reveals it to us. Great topic!
True; however, Jesus was the fulfillment of the law and the prophets. Neither of which has anything to do with Enoch.
I suspect the two witnesses will be Moses and Elijah for two main reasons:
1) the things the two do in Revelation during the time of the tribulation are what these two did during their ministry.
2) the Israelites will start the sacrifice system again to follow the law once more - who better to be on earth than the one God gave the law to?
Additionally, even though there is one verse people pull out of context; it is appointed unto man to die and after this the judgment. So people assume Enoch and Elijah so Enoch will finally die. Yet, there are plenty of people that died and were resurrected to die again - many at the hand of Jesus Himself.

Wow, I have to say at first, I was surprised to come across your comment. But when it comes to GOD, there is really know surprises. You see, I was a smoker as well. I have always wanted to quit. I thought I enjoyed it to relax. I get off work come home have a few beers and a few smokes. For me, that was last year on Dec 6. I have not had a smoke of any kind since. So, I decided to let GOD take over for me. I have learned to let go. Now, I do still drink my beer and it is not to be drunk but to relax. Excuses, yes, I get it. Just pray and GOD will help, and you know HE will. Amen to you.

In Hebrews 11 explains , Enoch one of the righteous men that died and has yet to received the promise, Elijah died as well it goes back to the original sin, god told Adam and Eve if ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, that they would surly die. Hence we all die until we are resurrected at the second coming of Christ

In Enoch, God showed a precedence for supporting His will for the perfect man to live forever as long as they abide in and with Him till the end, which was the case with Enoch.
Elijah didn’t finish his walk with God and renege on his commission to bring Israel back to God. This was finished in John Malachi 4:6; Luke 1:17.
With God, all things are possible!

The book of jasher talks about the reason Enoch was taken up. This book is also referenced in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18.
@@bigbruno56 yeah I know, it was apart of the Bible but they took it out around the 1600’s. You can find it on the sacred texts under Aprocrypha. It goes into more details from the creation days up till Moses days, you can use your discernment on the book too.

John the baptist is Elijah, who came to proclaim Jesus as the Messiah....

That's because unlike what this false teacher claims, Enoch and Elijah died. He literally started the teaching by saying everybody has to experience the physical death. If that is true(and it is). then Enoch and Elijah wouldn't be an exception. This provably false doctrine calls Christ a liar when He plainly told Nicodemus in Jhn 3:13 that no human besides Himself has ever been to Heaven or will ever go there.

John 3:13 say’s that nobody ever has gone into heaven. Thessalonians say’s that when he comes, the righteous who have dead have to be resurrected first and than ‘those who remain’ alive would go at the same time with him to be with Jesus in heaven. This heavenly course is yet to happen

The difference between Enoch and Elijah and the other prophets is that they (Enoch & Elijah) have not been reported to have committed anything to upset God in all their earthly experience, whereas the others, even (king) David or Moses, have had instances where God (for whatever they did) was not pleased with their conduct.

How o what Jesus mean when he says in Matthew 17; 10-13, that John the Battist is Elijah, but John says in John 1; 21 that he is not Elijah. Can you please explain that.
In Matt. 17:10-13, Christ prophesied of an _end-time_ figure who would come in the spirit of Elijah to restore biblical doctrines(which is a very clear indicator that the doctrines of traditional Christianity are false). It is also revealed in this passage that John the Baptizer only fulfilled this role in type. That is why John responded with a "no" after he is asked if he's Elijah in Jhn 1. He wasn't sent by God to restore anything.

While you were talking about Enoch. I just felt the urge to say That Enoch was taken up, more than likely because he seen more in his dreams than any other disciple. I believe that the Catholic church removed the book of Enoch from the Bible not just because the horrific things that Enoch spoke about , but because he also describes many different things the Angels showed him. Things the other prophets didn't see.Or if they saw them they didn't mention them in their books.

What is meant by "saved by faith and not work" (Ephesians 2:8-9)?
God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works. Reading the whole Bible even once once is a daunting task for the average Joe let alone find time with a full-time job. You may be gifted and find it easy but not others. So my question is, are we supposed to read the Bible given that no work is required according to Ephesians? Of course, we should familiarise ourselves with the Bible. In this case, what was Ephesians referring to we he said no work is required? I humbly think that he was referring to the Law, we do not have to fulfil the Law for salvation.
We have at some point in our lives done our will which is a deadly sin and therefore requires salvation and this comes in the form of God’s grace who has sent His son to lead us on the road of salvation. Some Christians believe that the more Jesus suffered on the cross the better their salvation. I think this is a completely wrong doctrine. What are your thoughts?

I concur. A lot of people say Moses is one of witnesses. However, it is appointed unto man to be born, die, then comes the judgement. But Moses died and God buried him. As Enoch & Elijah did not they will be the witnesses. Eventually, the antichrist will overcome them & kill them. Then, on the 4th day, God will raise them and bring them home.
It's not going to be either one of them or Moses because they're all dead, and the Tribulation will only last 3.5 yrs. There is no 7 yr Tribulation.

Yes, we CAN make assumptions about certain topics in the Bible 😅, who is it written we can't? That the basis for an inquiry. An assumption aught not be taken canonically but we can make them because that's the appetizer so we want to eat the main course. Is just that many Christians settled on the appetizer and don't follow the evidence the main course that awaits them, prepared by the Holy Spirit.
An adult in spirit in Christ has the Holly Spirit to guide his conscious, also the skills and discipline to eat spiritual solid food. The adult in Christ can step outside the canonical nanny and have a more personal and intimate relationship with his God.
Now you are speaking to a wide range of audience and it may seem correct to play it safe but it should never be bypassing the power of the Holy Spirit. As much as we want to we cannot protect those infants in Christ. Children see their big brother or sister as an inspiration, they know they can't do all the things that the older sibling can, nor he has the same responsibilities but he can strive to have them.
The entasis that I make on the word canonical is to mark what we cannot do, that is, to make a personal assumption as a fact. We can assumed that Elijah and Enoch are the two prophets, or Elijah and Moses, or like John the Baptist, it wasn't literally Elijah but more of a representation of the kind of person he will mirror. Then the assumption, if it has merit, will be back by the Bible and the Holy Spirit. Never just by one backer but by two or more witnesses can a matter be judge.

In my mind i think God took them and already had them picked out for the witnesses to save them for their last journey in the end times. God already knows whats goiing to happen and he needs devoted witnesses for the end times,and put there deaths on pause. Thats what I believe
I have to disagree my friend. The living who are raptured do not suffer a physical death
John the Baptist already came to finish the commission that Elijah couldn't complete, and he asked God to let him die 1 Kings 19:14, and God grantedit- in a way but was restored in Matthew 17:1-2; but he already came : Matthew 17:12. John the Baptist was beheaded to complete Elijah's act of beheading all the 450 prophets of baal and 400 prophets of asherah at the brook of Kison. 1 Kings 18:28; 2 Corinthians 5:10.
That was why Jesus ignored him and made him to doubt if He was actually the Messiah, despite the fact that he was the one who got Him baptized and witnessed to Him as the Lamb of God, who came to save the world. He doubted: that made him small before God. Abraham BELIEVED the Lord, and it was accounted to him for righteousness Galatians 3:6-9; Romans 4:3.
Enoch was God's proof of a perfect man, born into a fallen estate, to show that man, even in His fallen estate, can still receive acceptance, contrary to what satan thought, since he can never be forgiven, that is one of the most compelling reasons why satan hates man, and all he does is mutilate and genetically re-engineer the flesh to scorn God.
Moses couldn't get into the promised land and fell short of God's grace, he asked God to kill him as well, out of the frustration of doing the work of the Spirit, in the flesh, like Elijah Numbers 11:14-15, God honored his request as well, but God preserved his body because he had been in close contact with God and His glory. He and Elijah were restored to glory on the mount of transfiguration, where they witnessed God's answer for the redemption of the fallen man, who they both became frustrated with, and thought they were beyond salvation. Matthew 17:1-2. The same way He revealed Jesus to Daniel, because he couldn't understand, no matter how much of the prophesies he received, so he was made to shut the book Daniel 12:4, until all the prophecies were fulfilled and He saw the risen savior in the book of Revelation (which I believe was written also by both Him (for Israel), and John (for the Church), as he was told to rest till the time of the end, when all prophecies would have been fulfilled, and he would then understand what he wasn't able to at that time. The prophesies in the book of Revelation had their root in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar, and the Apostle John wasn't privy to that. Unless, of course, he was there to confirm it- as a witness (out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, a matter is established), all that which had been hidden was now revealed to Daniel for his understanding. The scriptures had nothing to show as a background for John being the writer of the book of Revelation, though. The whole scenario is also similar to that in the book of Daniel - the angels, the island, etc. ; just like how Jesus Christ was eventually revealed to the Apostle Paul - His last desciple, in Acts 9, to fulfill his deferred mission for which he was called in Luke 18:18-22. No other person received Jesus's call after this.

Who is the One holding off that man of sin, until all the sheep in the fold are ready and complete to be taken up and out in order to be presened faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy! No Holy Spirit (with evidence of speaking in tongues, no God, no redemption, no salvation, no Jesus, no matter who you are) Mark 16:16-18.

The two prophet in revelation is two nations of god not two men.
They're not 2 nations because Rev. 11 describes them as being individual prophets. Does it make sense to read Rev. 11:5-6as it saying 2 nations will have fire coming out of their mouths to slay whoever wants to harm them, or that 2 nations will have the ability to curse ppl with drought? Ofc it doesn't. Only individuals who are personally sent by God could wield such authority.
The 2 witnesses don't die because they are the 2 that are at Christ's coming and hold the testimony of Christ's promises fulfilled of eternal life.
The first is the dead in Christ that are raised up first to eternal life with Christ.
The 2nd of the witnesses are the tribulation Saints that survive the worst time ever experienced by man and survive but faith and obedience to the Lord.
These 2 witnesses return to Earth after being united with Jesus and recieving their sanctified bodies. Their testimony and witness to Jesus is the most important evangelism event as this world ends to bring those left on Earth to Christ as judgement is imminent.

To be clear. Enoch was not the grandfather of Noah. That was Methuselah. Enoch was Noah’s great grandfather.

They did die,the bible say flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.When Eliza went up to heaven*the first heaven which are earths atmosphere where birds fly*,he did not go to the second(outer space)or third heaven(Gods throne).The prophets even looked for him.If they rhought God took him to Gods heaven they would not have gone and looked for him.Eliza was taken up but returned to some secret place on earth where he lived out his life in peace.Enoch likewise was taken up and returned,maybe it was the place Jacob named Bethel where a ladder was from heaven to earth,even so,they remained on earth and they did die because of the sin of Adam where God told him he would die the same day.And in the new testament it says a 1000 years are like a day to God and one day is like a 1000 years so neither Enoch or Eliza could have lived longer then a 1000 years because everyone are still under the curse of Adam!!!!!!
