We got to know each other on faith and fantasy. And while we was promoting this culture way back then before it wasn't a fad, we was also Club Heads that thrived off club culture and invented this rap and hip hop culture. We didn't use our pedigree because there wasn't one. NOW these new kids get to use their resume with their references and make moves non of us were able to do back when we was eating off the same plates and sleeping on everyone's floor. We made a industry and while many of yall got paid well others where left to strive to be remembered butt... what we didn't do is support the technical investments we now are forced to hire or forced to include as the crew of these productions we put our names on. We made people like Clive powerful and allowed them to corner the market on what we can do or say today in this industry. We look one way in the studio and another in the boardroom and by the time we hit the road there are so few of us seen and heard working production and technical crew that we are often surprised when we see crew and staff that looks like ourselves too. And it's getting better because our younger generations are getting educated and equipped with the gear and the labor dynamic. Now as far as these relationship issues that comes with this lifestyle? We are still spiritually immature. Maybe too immature to understand why this LBGTQ+ stuff is too deep to keep evolving like them "wyt" folks do for their offspring. Many of us madethis money and celebrity butt... That BDSM stuff was for them rich white folks...lol Now here we are. Why can we not get with this new identity without judgement? Have we tried to honor a ancestory that is outdated too? A fool and their money are soon separated more by ignorance and tolerance than moral fiber and tradition. C'mon son...
