Latter is probably Tony's best vocal performance ever, and it certainly has quite interesting twist 😂WPBO is on the other hand great to show the genius of their song writing and story telling. So many amazing songs by them.

Tony’s voice is really nice to listen. This song is a part of the psychological thriller story, made it in to 6 different songs, known as ”Caleb saga”. Caleb saga songs are always stand out a bit different than Sonata Arctica’s other songs. However, Sonata Arctica song are mostly power metal, but they can change to any style they want. Pretty much all of their songs are some type of stories, with smart and beautiful lyrics. Though, some of the lyrics can even freak you out, because like in this ”dark empath” it is the beginning of the Caleb saga, where narcistic manipulative Person is acting emotions to make the victim do as he please, and the dark empath is sucking life out of this victim and manipulating her, by forcing her in to eternal roller coaster of emotions.
The year is 2024 and we got another entry in The Caleb Saga. Definitely the most interesting from a musical standpoint, especially since it's a direct sequel to Don't Say a Word. I'll always have a soft spot for Sonata and I found this track in particular a nice blend of some stuff from classic era SA with some of the more musical stylings of the modern era.
The last melody line you played before ending, please listen Polyphia's piece Playing God. The opening guitar line goes on those territories, very jazz influenced piece.
I recommend "Through Purgatory" by Kiuas. Great Finnish metal band with some really intricate stuff going on in their music. Their singer Ilja has a unique sound, he's actually more of a blues singer, and takes that with him into his metal performances.
California. Tommy's drumming is beast mode in that song. The video is awesome because it's tour footage. Tommy Portimo drum videos are awesome because he's so fast but he loves playing. Twoon, Reckoning Night was released 20 years ago today. My favourite song on that album is White Pearl Black Oceans. You should definitely analyse the live version. The live version is all kinds butt kicking. Its in the Discord beanie I put it there weeks ago.
