For the life of me, when The Coldest Winter Ever came out I was the only one in my friend group who refused to read it. It just did not gravitate to me. 30yrs later here comes a re-release and a second and third book. She is about 4-5 yrs older than me and I would think her use of language would have progressed. After the Fly Girl series I haven’t read another one of Omar Tyree’s books and don’t look like I will again. Thanks for the video!

Sometimes I will do a “soft DNF” by taking a break with plans to go back and finish it at a later time.

This had me laughing. I DNF those last two Sista Soulja’s books as well. And like you I LOVED The Coldest Winter Ever. I didn’t like the book Midnight either. Don’t feel any type of way when books are DNF. Too many books out there being written to read a book you don’t like.
Yeah Ms Douglas is definitely a why choose trope writer lol I read Credence and that was it by her lol. My daughter likes books like that so she bought Birthday Girl and Credence and I think she has another book too. Girl The Teacher by Ms Freida had me gasping for air with the student teacher relationship…I just can’t do it
I still have to read The Teacher and been holding off on it due to that relationship. But I think it would make for a good reading vlog with my reactions. 😂😂😂

Chile Sista Souljah was wrong for life after death. I read it just to see how it would end, it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Im convinced she had a ghost writer for The coldest winter ever.
My Book Club chose Sister Souljah's book for a monthly read and we all hated it. I was going to give her new book a try but after hearing your opinion I'll just pass. Now on Omar Tyree I wasn't going to spend any money on his book because he seems to think that the women here in Memphis only read about drama. He mentioned this some years back at a book convention and he thought he wasn't heard. Thank you so much for doing these videos because I look forward to them. They give me an idea on what to read😊😊
Life after death changed my reading life…. This was the book that made me finally realize…. STOP WASTING TIME ON TRASH BOOKS😂 I regretted (and still regret) finishing that tripe. It’s truly one of the worst books I’ve ever read.
