Is the red pigment in the water glass just for ease of seeing the water better or some form of boilertreatment ?

Hi Andy yes still looking very fresh
It runs like a dream and a pleasure to drive
The gauge glass has a red line on the back of the glass to make it easier to see the level

They are good butI thought all of your water appeared pigmented, which would be ideal for a friend of mine who has impared vision
