What’s the tone/ effect for the rhythm there? I’ve got the tapping and 2-3 rhythm but I need the effect
I think it's a wah pedal that starts in the open position and slowly closes as it gets to the end of the riff although I'm not certain since I made this a few years ago. But that's definitely what it sounds like!

Manual is easier to control but if you don't have a real wah pedal, some of the VSTs like Amplitube or Guitar Rig have wah pedals modelled on the real ones that you can then map to your track to open/close the way you want it and get the sound you're after.

+Frans Georges Thanks. I am still trying to be that good. Whenever I look for tabs of the song, the tapping into is always wrong and so is the solo. But you nailed them both perfectly. If you used tabs for those parts could you post them or if you learned them some other way maybe you could do a lesson. Again amazing job.

Here they are, I've written them in separate Guitar Pro 5 files. To open them, download a program called TuxGuitar to play them (they are interactive, much like Songsterr, to help with timing etc). Hope it helps mate!

Hey man I'm trying to get into guitar covers but once I record it I have to edit, and I'm not so good when I try to do double covers like this I have trouble syncing the recordings together. How do you do it?
Metronome can help. You’ll have to put some time into but it can work

No worries! I made one around a year ago called "My Gear Set Up and Recording Process", although I've improved some methods on how I record since then, but it provides a basic understanding of how I make my covers. Check it out, hope it helps!
