Being a big fan of Compile Heart, anyone who has played The Hyperdimension Neptunia Series will find this game to be the same, but with a few new additions, there is a new "Super Form" that replaces HDN's 'HDD mode' but with a little surprising drawback I foolishly didn't realize till later in the game. The Game, like most of Compile Heart's games, is hilarious and is pretty laid back in combat, there is no need to worry about difficulty in this one for the most part. Since this is made by C.H. There is of course those fan-service moments, however unlike in HDN, I believe there is no way to replay them back to you. The storyline isn't necessarily the best but really, the gameplay is where the game shines, of course~
The health thing is a rather interesting aspect, mixed with the negative affect you have for losing most of your gauge, terrible for high damage bosses who like to target the weakest member though lol XD
yeah, i played ps3 neptunia games and i felt the same, you even encounter some of the monster you see in neptunia (Bit like example), but still enjoying the game tho, so into it right now
I hate how you lose the tension bar for every hit you take while in Fairize, even if that hit did no damage. Nothing worse than watching a series is 0's followed by a bottomed out tension bar.
True but I have to admit it was a fun game, I would love to see another one done like it but a bit more polished and a longer more in depth story as opposed to how short this was dood.

That would be because (I remember reading somewhere) it was made by somebody who made the battle system for one of the neptunia games or something like that.

There is a demo on the Japanese PSN marketplace that you can download if you have a japanese account. its simple enough that you will understand the controls and will give you a glimpse of the gameplay. If youve played hyperdimension neptunia mk2 and victory, its basically about the same battle wise with a few quirks :)

Yes in Advent you can have 6 on the field at once, is pretty nice to say the least, but enemies get an extra turn to make it fair
