Kids with an iPad go on UA-cam and watch whatever they want....I had a student last year who wants to grow up and be Jake Paul. So. Yeah. I second that. I watch Gabi kind of regularly, and I have some major thoughts about her addiction to “cosmetic procedures”. One of her most recent videos she talks about how much she hates her pointy chin and wants to change it... the same thing happened with her nose. She’s absolutely gorgeous, but imo she spends too much time staring at her face and finding something wrong with it. It’s incredibly unhealthy and makes me really sad to watch. The girls who watch her are insanely young, too. I wish I could shake her and get her to just be happy with the way she is. Maybe she has body dysmorphia. I’m a teacher in an urban area, and you would be shocked at how many parents hand their kids an iPad to get them to shut up. Kids with an iPad go on UA-cam and watch whatever they want....I had a student last year who wants to grow up and be Jake Paul. So. Yeah. It sucks, but kids have a lot of access to UA-cam these days....

It’s actually really messed up that adults and children, who do not know each other, are given a platform which allows them to communicate so easily. In no other setting in the real world is this acceptable. Creators and UA-cam shouldn’t encourage a young audience. But they do because kids are the easiest to advertise to.

I second that. I watch Gabi kind of regularly, and I have some major thoughts about her addiction to “cosmetic procedures”. She finds the smallest things about her face and obsesses about it and rushes to a doctor to “fix” it. One of her most recent videos she talks about how much she hates her pointy chin and wants to change it... the same thing happened with her nose. She’s absolutely gorgeous, but imo she spends too much time staring at her face and finding something wrong with it. It’s incredibly unhealthy and makes me really sad to watch. The girls who watch her are insanely young, too. I wish I could shake her and get her to just be happy with the way she is. Maybe she has body dysmorphia. She set up her life to be like a real life Disney princess and constantly wants more. Never content. Down to everything. Anyway I’m rambling...
