alw2ays loved both them songs. when i got a new puppy i was trying to name it for weeks . then one i put a dead cd in. iko iko came on and my dog went nuts. was dancing around the room barking and jumping. so named him iko. every time i played the song he would do the same thing all his life
I did the same with my little bichon 12 years ago. I was on my way to pick him up from the breeder and I was playing a "cassette" when this came on, so his name was set! 4 years later I naturally named his "brother", a rescue dog, 'Jockomo'. Sadly, little Iko passed last July. Always think of him when I hear this song!
this was hilarious we all used to joke about how they were the same tune (they aren't, it was a joke) and they never play both the same night, one is jerry the other bob...you know i think it was one of the drummers that got mad when we thought the beats were the similar...i'll guess mickey

Great 5 show run, I was at them all! This was a mix of Nevilles and Dead, Nevilles drummer on Bills kit and some of the drummers from Baba Olutunji.
