My son loves the triangle top string technique for all of his lacrosse heads so I found your video 5 years ago and will still refer to it if it's been a while between stringings. I've also used this for other players' lax heads if they don't have any preferences just because I love the look and keeping the mesh super snug. Thanks for making this video so easy to follow! The different colored strings are very helpful.

i see you did the mainely mesh way, where you do a complete 9 diamond ts instead of just the one (the old tutorial) i find that the old one works good so i never really tried this because i didnt wanna waste string, but i will try this.

Ted Mills It could, but it also pulls the mesh up a different way to create tightness than simply using the other two top string holes. Plus this allows you to bring up the middle diamond, which you don't have a hole for. However, you could use all six and simply thread the top string through the top of the middle diamond to create more tension, but it wouldn't achieve the same tautness.

Good stuff! Once you get the top string down the rest is a breeze
I try and use this on all the heads that I can. Keeps the mesh snug for young players and looks good with different colored strings.

Im restringing an old stick, im retired, my fold over on the top is on a 10d hole. Can this be done one row up (or down)?
You can do that but a 9D top string is a little easier

What head are you looking to string up ? you will have to use all the top string holes in that situation.
