- We don't usually cover eBikes or Pedelecs on ScooterLab but made an exception for the new 2023 Yamaha Booster. It's available as a 15mph eBike or 28mph moped and looks pretty funky.
We went to Amsterdam to ride it, read the story here: scooterlab.uk/...
Wow, Yamaha! This is beautiful!!! Cheers!
Wow that video was cut short somewhat
That's a lot of money for a ebike....
Looks like the ones from btwin are still a bang for the buck

@@ScooterLabUK 😂😭😈
@@SuperiorNo1That‘s kinda cheap compared to what a normal e bike costs these days
I bet many will get the moped version and cycle it like a bike
Fking prices are insaneee
50KM/H Requiring A Licence And Insurance Get The Fuck Outa Here!! 😂😭😈
Converted my Giant XTC mountain bike with a Bafang 750W motor for £600 including the battery and it will go faster than the Yamaha Booster that does 28mph.
Obviously… Because ebikes in the EU have to be limited at 16mph or 28mph for the faster ones. You can remove the limiter but that‘s highly illegal
Police cracking down on these. Big fine and bike crushed.....
@@paulr9572 If you use it off road in remote areas, that shouldn't be a problem.
@@irishrover63yeah on private land, but how many of us have private land.. laws a bit outdated here in uk. Restrictions should be upped to 40mph instead of 28 on these moped licenses like the rest of the world.
Not Worth rhe price.
Agree.
A bicycle that can turn into moped, I mean it is unique… It’s worth it as don’t have to own both now. I mean to be able to suddenly have a massive speed increase is very useful in the city, and good mopeds do cost 3k… just the extra helmet in uk could be an issue, and the number plate is annoying, who wants extra parking tickets…
Scooters in England have blue plates or it’s Netherlands
We were in the Netherlands.
