      Rightfully so. It looks like an over-carbonated homebrew (anyone that's brewed has had a batch like that). An established brand like Evil Twin should know better.

    I laughed so hard ...I love seeing Greg get pissed and calling brewers out. Its 2016 put a damn date on it

    I experienced the same shit with this one lol. Head like a damn root beer float. It also wasn't very hot either. I poured mine out, didnt even finish. I wonder if this beer was just intended as a joke.

    Half the bottle contents wasted away as carbonation. Not good. Not a good way to begin the New Year. I feel your ire Greg...these beers are rather costly, so we want to savor every drop, not watch it run down the side of the glass. I know Evil Twin makes awesome brews. Thankfully you have a fridge packed full of many delicious brews.

    When you take time and money to produce a beer for the consumer to enjoy .... its VERY IMPORTANT TO DATE IT. I understand the frustration coming from a craft beer drinker

    Wow I've never seen a beer do that! I've seen an over carbed beer, but never keep gushing like that!

    Very disappointing coming from Evil Twin. I usually try all their beers but I have not picked this one up because of the low ABV and no date. After seeing this I think I will just steer clear of this one. Great review Greg. Kept me from wasting my money on this one.

      On a higher note, I had an Evil Twin BBA Biscotti Break for New Years and it was great. Maybe they should stick with brewing the heavy stouts.

  • @thejman36
    @thejman36 8 років тому

    Lol that's all bad. I'm about 50/50 with Evil Twin. His IPAs and porters/stouts are great. I agree that it sucks he never dates his beers... Not even a year on the imperial stouts

    1,900 beers means you're bound to have a few that severely disappoint, but the worst beers make for the most amusing reviews! Pretty funny when you were talking to the camera and the head was just growing and growing. No bottled on date is just unacceptable; it's greed or incompetence. I suggest you make a playlist of the all time worst beers you've ever reviewed. I would love to go back and watch them! Happy New Year, G.

    Was it the wrong shaped glass maybe? Just seems strange that it is so foamy....

      +Gregsbeerreviews I'm almost positive it was in the bottle way too long. I bought beer that was really old before by accident that didn't have a date on it and it did the same thing. but thanks to you Greg I know how important dates on beer are!

    Greg, since you have run into this kind of over-carbonated beer before why don't you do a test pour and if there's too much head just put the bottle back in the fridge and let it sit for about 15-20min and try another test pour.

    I have never seen a beer react that way. The carbonation was WAY over the top. I see dates on bud and no reason other than greed to avoid shelf life awareness. If the brew house felt like this was a one off, they should send Greg another to try and re-review. Top notch wines are corked from time to time so there is a chance something just wasn't right with that bottle. Put dates on the brew!

  • @MrMetal93

    enjoy the reviews, get annoyed by the date rants. If there isn't a date, don't buy it...

    • @thejman36
      @thejman36 8 років тому +3

      Why? It's an important issue many craft breweries need to address. If I'm spending $10 plus on your beer I need to know when the hell it was bottled. It's a courtesy that shouldn't be overlooked.

      Beer is essentially "food" it contains natural substances that spoil
      You wouldn't buy your food without a date on it so why would you buy your beer without it?
      It is paramount that these breweries date their product
