it is inspired by peter max...as was cattanooga cats...this commercial came from a hanna-barbera commercial reel that they would show clients the various styles that they could do at the studio.
I live in Canada and also remember the Fanta commercial from the 70's Fanta! Fanta! It's a bottle of fun!" It was such a catchy song it's been in my head for over 30 years
Oh, I ADORED the psychedelic, animated Fanta commericals from this era! They are a beloved & vivid memory of my childhood. Yeah, this ad must be Canadian because the tagline/jingle that I can well-remember from the American-aired commercials I watched as a kid in the early 70's was: "Fanta! Fanta! It's a bottle of fun!" And there were all these happy, bell-bottom wearing, Peter Maxish/Yellow Submarine people dancing on bottle caps. If someone could post THAT version, I would be in heaven! :-)
This must be where the inspiration for the Australian Fanta ads (featuring Ann Louise Lambert as Fancy Nancy, and John Farnham singing the jingle) in the 1970s arose. ;-)
Yes I remember but I can't remember all the words but it was something like... a tube bi tube umpapa ...ohlala ...Fanta fanta it's a bottle of fun fanta fanta its a bottle of fun.The most important part of the song stuck with me.Wish someone could find it and post it.I'd love to see it again.
I'm confused is it pronounce Fanta or Fonn-ta in this commercial they say Fan-ta but in those commercials with the group of singing girls they said more like Fon-ta so which one is it really???
Oh man, now THAT'S the taste of the Fanta I grew up with! :) You youngin's don't know what you're missing... Quality has fallen so dramatically that the youth these days can be fed feaces on a stick and they'll love it (as long as their favorite popstar has promoted it)... How sad...
This looks more like a drug commercial then a soda one
This Commercial Looks Yellow Submarine Style!!!!!

"Fanta Fanta it's a bottle of fun, Orange Fanta like a taste of the sun, It's just a fountain of flavour a smile when you're glum..."
Peter Max and Ralph Bakshi did make a Fanta commercial.. this looks a lot like their work...
I remember when Fanta and Shasta were a thing.
I still like it. I don't notice anything. Then again, I'm used to artificial sweeteners.
Well thank God the blue meanies didn't show up

I wish someone would upload the Fanta commercial from the late '60s or early '70s that featured a talking tree. "I'll get you for this, Fanta! Grrr."
This commercial sounds kinda possessed tbh.
Yay! Somebody else remembers the same jingle I do from so long ago! I feel so validated now. LOL! God bless UA-cam! :-)
coca cola has been out for 123 years since 1886
Are you sure that it's citric acid that's in Fanta?
