Prices were thru the roof for Their Tour with Ghost, and Spiritbox…I would have been more willing to spend the $ if it had been Mastodon headlining instead of Ghost
@@andrewdipietro9050 ghost is huge so any tour involving them is gonna be pricey especially one featuring mastodon as support and spiritbox opening. Hopefully eventually tho we get mastodon sole headline tour where they can play a long ass set
Brent's pipes sound so much better than I've seen in other videos and it's hilarious that he's getting quite the collection of videos of him demanding for his monitor guy to turn up the monitors.
I’ve only seen Mastodon twice, but the crowd seems very similar to seeing Tool. I think people have trouble feeling it, because so much of their stuff is offbeat.
I was right at the front by Troy (in Tucson) and I was going crazy. Lots of younger Ghost fans that weren’t too familiar with Mastodon to be fair. A lot of them really enjoyed them it seemed. So hopefully more fans were made 🤘🏻
@@DryMilks So I had a look myself and it seems the video playing on stage was most likely made for their live performances. Only video I could find for The Czar is a visualizer one which just had the album art
Mastodon needs to do their own headline tour of H&G. No co-headline tour like they did with Opeth.

Dead fucking crowd doesn't realise it's witnessing greatness

@@Marko-vb2mi this isn't a Mastodon crowd , that's the primary problem
@@leeroden7900 could be, but I saw them headline the Observatory (I posted a video from there too) and the crowd was pretty stoic there too

Mastodon’s vocals are pretty rough live, no one can deny that.
Anyone know where to find the video on the screens in the back?
probably from the music video
@@aliont Know where I can find the music video by any chance? I can’t seem to find it anywhere

Lol this used to be a metal band
And they still are and this is a metal song they’re performing
