A Tour of the New Wembley Stadium

This is a brief journey around Wembley Stadium late December 2007. The turf wasn't down that day as a motor racing event had just finished, they re-laid it a few days later -- the third time since the new stadium was built. As we were the last tour of the day they allowed us to lift the FA cup (the actual one used until 1992) which they don't normally do. The guy had a remote control that he used to play the sound of a cheering crowd on the stadium tannoy, so it really felt authentic! The changing rooms were pretty impressive as well; most stadiums usually provide good quality changing rooms for the home team and crap ones for the away team, but as Wembley is a national stadium, both had to be of equal standard.
