At 1:18 also check if spatial sound is on. My headphones did not work at all with Windows Sonic for Headphones turned on there. I just disabled it, and reconnected the headphones, zero problems.

I've had this issue for 3 years and I don't know how to prevent it since I use the mic on my headset. I don't unplug it at all, I don't have issues with hearing on speakers or bluetooth headphones, yet my laptop won't put any output noise for ANY plug in headphones when it does this. Please help!!!
