been trying to find the ones my brother had when we were kids. us being 2000-2004 baby's he had an optimus prime with some sort of gun that can be transformed and attached to the roof, and a bumble bee that had a trailer that can also transform. they went missing after someone broke into our storage and stole all our toys we had over the years. We still have the trailer that came with the bumble bee, was hoping to see one of em in this, can't seem to find them anywhere. good video, brought back a lot of nostalgia
man, this truly helped me.. i have been very confused, on what each type of sets mean.. i for the life of me.. didnt understand the MP, Gen war for cyb etc..thank you very much!! this was a huge help!
What were the little guys that werent minicons but were the same size? I had one named wars or something, little red sports car guy and kids in kindergarten had similar ones of that line too but i have no idea what they were called
Too bad the modern hasblow figures almost all suffer from hollow limb syndrome, besides takara MPs, I'm almost completely zoned out on hasblow.. and went almost completely 3rd party
@@GenXToysGeek I'm sure it's just a way to save on plastic and they know that there are customizers making gap fillers and custom parts which I'm sure Hasbro considers optional accessories. The best figure that Hasbro has made so far that is almost gapless is the Siege Seeker mold. I don't know if it was designed to have less gaps intentionally but it's a shame that now that the focus is on making them look truer to their G1 designs, they look and feel so cheap because of the waffling gaps.
I had all my figures thrown away when I moved I wish I had them they were my treasures as a kid all the ones I played with were from the armada series in 2003 I think. I think Im gonna buy a bunch of sealed stuff and open them up just so I know im the first one to touch it. I miss the purple motorcycle one I can’t remember his name but that one but blur and jet fire were my favorites and the mini on sets were my favorites I had the cybertron sword the canon and the other weapon I wish I still had them
It’s interesting that the term “evolve” has taken on a meaning completely opposite of what Darwin actually intended. Darwin theorized that the various creatures we see today came into existence through random unguided processes. (An inherently unobservable and unverifiable concept, btw.) These toys were intentionally designed by intelligent people. A more appropriate title would be “The Intelligence-Driven Development Of Transformers.”
Great history lesson!
I'll be 50 in July and was 12 years old in '84 and still love it
Thank you for this outstanding video!! I love the Transformers, I love history, and I especially love the history of the Transformers. lol
No problem! Happy to have you here.
This was a solid video- well done sir!
Much appreciated Andrew! 🤜🤛
It's one of my earlier ones so I got worried my voice sounded too bland as I was still working out some kinks. Lol.

Those sound like the original Transformers Classics 2006 Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures.

You should check out the combaticons from magic square if you havent. They did a superb job on that set and really made me get back into collecting
Magic square stuff is great!

I do enjoy the war for cybertron and studio 86 stuff a lot though. The ones a few years earlier before this, i didnt get too deeply into.
@@ToyKennections overall the skulpts are not bad, I just hate the hollow limb syndrome on em...
