I really appreciate the subtle changes from the live-on-tape to grand final performances, like the change of the light color from blue to white, decreasing the amount of the little white lights on the ground, her emotion and hand movements. Beautiful
i like the can angles more in Live in Tape... their more close and open in the end. creating a more intimate moment. The light i like more in Jury rehearsal... it doesnt make that blur. But the performance i like more in the grand Finale. Barbara was more into the song, feeling each word, making sure the audience feels what she is passing

@@tajzaidi nah the live on tape is a bit different compared to the national final, like the part with birds, they were bigger in the national final (+ imo she sounded better in the national final than in the live on tape performance)

Live-On-Tape was prerecorded in case the artist got COVID, in which case the tape would be shown. The Jury is a few days before the "main" final, which is the one that the juries vote based on. Nowadays, the Jury points is 50 percent and televoting is 50 percent. The family show is only a few hours before the "main" show, and it's to make sure that everything is working as it should. They don't have makeup or fancy technology on scene, because the main final is only a few hours away at this point. Then, the Final is the one you see on TV and vote and stuff.

Probably something you didn't notice is that on the live tape they are number 19 but on all other 3 they are number 20..
That’s because Lesley Roy and James Newman refused to let the ESC channel show their live on tape performances.
