There were MANY misconceptions out here : for eg some functions mentioned are ONLY limited to the A320/18/19/21 (like the autopilot , FMC) , the ATC would (IN MOST CASES) never advise you to initiate any action/turn any knob whatsoever and lastly you NEED to know about reverse thrust that you COMPULSORILY need to apply upon touchdown in order to ensure safe landing and stoping of the aircraft .........
I am not a pilot but I think for different aircraft there is different control systems.

Points to note:
1.You cannot enter cockpit just like that during cruise...
2.Cockpit design differ based on aircraft model.
3.Finding correct frequency to establish radio contact is challenging for a passanger..
4.Autopilot is not a replacement for pilots...its not foolproof...its just do its job with the inputs u give...wrong input gives u wrong output(crash)
5.Not all airports have CAT III,II type runways...few things we have to do manually to land...
6.weather...crosswinds ...turbulance...nearby aircrafts causes danger..
7.Its good to know things for entertainment purpose and for knowledge sake...but can never match an experience of a pilot...even if u practiced in simulator its not a match for real flight experience...just like we cant learn cycling or swimming by reading a book...we cant fly an aircraft by seeing this kind of videos...its just for information and knowledge about few process in flying

Normally only AP1 or AP2 may be engaged. For a CAT 3 auto land and appr mode to work both the autopilots need to be engaged.

The process is as follows
Step 1 put on your headset for communication.
Step 2 press the key(present on left hand joystick nearby the red button)to communicate ATC(Provides you Altitude(height) and Heading(alignment towards localiser(towards runway by turning or maneuvering )will establish ILS ))
Step 3 Adjacent to your Right knee on benaster(could not hear properly Gaurav sir) Press the PREFS button and left to the screen press the activate approach button(just like atm), this will bring the aircraft in landing mode. It's speed will slow down automatically.
Step 4 Straight between the two pilot FCO panel(has buttons for speed,heading and altitude and one more knob(hope Sir will say))
Press the left most knob on FCO panel this will set the aircraft on auto speed.
Step 5 Contact the ATC by pressing the same joystick pull button(towards you) and ask ATC for altitude for landing and for heading(ask latter after approaching decent landing height).
Step 6 Feed the altitude using the right most Knob by rotating it and when set full it, feel the decent.
Step 7 When the speed of aircraft has reached for landing and attain the altitude, then feed the value of heading by rotating the middle knob between speed and altitude. And don't forget to full it otherwise it won't work, Note: speed knob has to be pushed and rest two heading and altimeter has to be pulled.
Step 7 Select the braking to medium from right side breaking Circuit panel, It will help to slowdown the aircraft.
Step 8 Once the aircraft is about to align towards runway press the button Activated approach phrase button, so that the aircraft could easily catch bean of light coming from runway to straighten it self. And pull the Landing Gear down (lever could be seen just front of you where you sit) Here almost your work finishes. Since aircraft has taken it's Glide Slope, now you left with only one thing to stop the aircraft by applying brakes slowly slowly.
Step 9: Further, reduce speed by Taking flaps(black coloured thick joystick) to change the dimension if wings, It will produce dragging force to stop your aircraft.
Step 10 Once your air craft touched and run few metres on run way system would start announcing Retarded Retarded Retarded means it's asking you to pull back the throttle(supplies power to engine by ejecting fuel from the wings ) otherwise aircraft would get ready for takeoff again.
Finally, Once the aircraft stop.
Congratulate you have done it.
