Used to play in the park during the 50's, remember it well! Good to see it restored.

I have walked my dog here whilst on holiday. Impressed how well it was kept. Nice to hear the history behind the park.

This is a beautiful park. A credit to Darren and his team. Darrens father was once a gardener on the park so his father would be so proud of what he has done. My dads cousin was one of the children that planted a tree in the Memorial aAe. owing to having lost his father in WW1. i have many relatives named on the Cenotaph.

It would be nice to get people to donate to be able to have a rose planted in the garden in memory of someone with a little named plaque I’m sure they would get the number of roses up

If you go on google maps you actually get both restored and pre restored views on the gate if you move around
