Things have changed in the 10 years since I did my Vivaro, gear is a lot more complicated and I guess more expensive. We have spent around 250 nights in ours, cooking about 400 meals. So the £3k I bout the van for a £2k I have spent converting has paid for itself many times over. Vivaro is the number 1 van. All swivel seats are tested, they must be by law. I never cut anything off my seat, but my vehicle is 08. As for the rib bed there is one serious problem buyers should consider related to the total foam thickness, which means you lose all important head height when seated.
@@allanb52 things have changed so much in the last four years for me, things are a lot more expensive now that’s for sure, you built yours for a good price and definitely getting the use out of it, when you way up how much it cost to how much you’ve done that’s fantastic value
@@Forever_Campervan_Adventures You are choosing equipment that is more expensive than mine, like the rib bed, the swivel base too. and for no good reason that I can see.. Even the floor covering, I used a good quality, but £10 off cut of carpet, which 9 years on is still good even with a dog.
Glad you chose a rib bed what a difference they make. Excellence video again, great watching for self build project people.
@@alanimals thanks again and I feel they are the best beds on the market
