L'inconnu de Limoise

French Mazurka by Maxou Heintzen, in honour of an unknown piper whose remains (including pipes) were unearthed unexpectedly during some excavations for construction work, so the story goes.
On melodeon.net this was tune of the month in November 2009, and mazurkas were theme of the month in January 2012.
Played by Anahata on Hohner C/F club box made about 1940.

Thanks! I always enjoy the life you breathe into the pieces you play! A very pretty & soulful mazurka. It's on my bucket list of French tunes to learn. Thanks for a version which makes me feel as if the tune is calling me a bit louder to learn it sooner rather than later!

The accrdion is in club system or modified in standard ?

The instrument in this video is a C/F Hohner Club II, in its original Club system tuning. I have a later video of the same tune played on a D/G which is not in Club tuning: ua-cam.com/video/C5s9skX2ae8/v-deo.html in case you're interested.
