Very nice collection. Here is a friendly tip: when you handle the coins on the piece of paper like in the video you effectively sand the coins. Also when you move the tray around especially with those large slots with time it can degrade the coin. I also use a piece of paper under the coin HOWEVER I also place a sheet of plastic cut out of banknote holders and place it on the paper to protect the coin from being sanded by the paper.
I believe I have found a rare version of a 221-222AD Elagabalus Denarius in great condition. Any chance I could send you a picture to get an idea of value? Thanks in advance!
The standard reference for those coin types is Guide to Biblical Coins 5th Edition By David Hendin, but always open to all the best information about the coins.
Do you know the first year of the English Farthing??? It is mentioned in the Bible..., in the King James Version. Also, do you know anything about the coins of the Pharoah's of Egypt..., the years of..., or, the time periods???
Pharaohs didn’t really make coins they did but it was only in the 300s Bc shortly before the conquest by Alexander. But the Ptolemaic dynasty made lots of coins Greco Egyptians.
Do you have for sale right now, any coins that were respected during the jewish temple periods and maybe used by jews at the time? perhaps half shekel, or tarpic or whatever is mentioned in the Talmud? Good values and good condition?
+Dustin Rupert Good question. stores.ebay.com/Authentic-Ancient-Greek-Roman-Coins and type into the search box Jewish, Jerusalem, or if you check the box that says in titles and description, search for Hendin I accept offers. Shop around if you wish. Make an offer, and if the price is a win win, I can give you a great deal.
@@RoseSharon7777Before coins - barter was used in trade (goods for another goods, for example olives in exchange for cloth) or gold/silver/copper bars. And the second thing - biblical stories are not historic, they were mostly made-up in later centuries.
Nice collection

No. First coins were minted in different part of the world about 2-3 centuries after David & Solomon.
