the pulsar medium is fantastic for claw grip, possibly the best on the market except the g pro superlight (for me). however, it it extremely locked in, which limits my abilities to fingertip well
I get what you mean! its really built exactly for claw, but its not ideal for fingertip if you dont have really loooong fingers. Palming it is still great though!
I hope the clicks are better in that one, im working on a long term review of the x2h mini right now, the clicks have deteriorated so much so that I hate using it now even though I love the shape.
@johnchngg RIP that's not good. Yeah, hopefully, pulsar sorts out their qc issues in general, especially 1st and 2nd batches. I own the X2 red mini, and it only had a little double clicking, so hopefully, it's the same with X2h mini.
im strongly considering getting the x2h mini. are the QC issues rare in the updated x2h version, or just as common as in the original x2 version? please help thanks.
The x2h and the x2v2 definitely have better qc than the original x2, but to me its still not good, or maybe I was just unlucky to have two copies have bad click feel. Your mileage may vary, other than the clicks, everything else feels great. I say give it a try if you can return it within the first 2 weeks, thats when the issues will come if there are any.
Overall I can say Im pretty happy with my X2H Mini I even bought spare Razer V2 switches just in case the stock ones go bad or something (I really love the shape of this mouse)

Build quality wise, out of all three of the copies I’ve tried they’re all SOLID. But I can’t say the same about the clicks, Pulsar still needs to improve their unit-to-unit variation for their optical switches, still inconsistent.
That's interesting, Pulsar definitely has to look into QC issues in their mice. Then again, a giant company like Logitech had issues with their first batch of GPX2 as well, might be even bigger of a challenge for a smaller company like Pulsar.
how is the hump on the back for both of these im afraid the medium one might be too tall so i opted on the mini then the lenght on the mini might be to short, i use fk2 rn and the lenght is like the medium with hump like mini
the hump on the medium feels about 15% larger, its not a huge difference and you can definitely get used to it both ways. I think you will like the mini better though, just my little opinion!

I have a hand size of 19.4 cm x 11.6 cm and play with an aggressive claw grip (by default), currently using the G303 SE. Which size would you recommend to me? (medium or mini)
I'd say that the G303 SE has a very wide shape. Going from that to a X2H is a huge difference. I wouldn't be so worried about the size but more of would you be able to adapt to this entirely new high hump, thinner grip width mouse. With that said tho, I'd say the x2h medium is a better pick for you, with your current mouse in mind. But if you already dislike the wide shape and lower hump of the g303 SE, go for the x2h mini.
The best shape so far for me was the M60/M65 line from corsair. I think we all know that feeling when you pick up a mouse, and you are immediately able to make on point flicks without any warm up, because you are instantly “locked in”. Sadly, the M65 Elite I tried had an absurdly high lod and sensor spinouts. (shape was still heavenly) No one clones this shape and the newest iteration from Corsair of the M65 the “Ultra” has insane QC issues to the point that they had to release a second batch with different switches. (From optical Omrons to optical TTCs) According to the mouse tool of RJN, the MM720 should be the ideal fit, it's my current backup mouse, in terms of width it's on point, but the non-existent hump support makes any form of recoil control really difficult. The G303 SE was the next best thing in terms of width and at least somewhat of a hump + wireless … any idea in which direction I should go?@@johnchngg
What are the clicks like on the pulsar x2h mini mouse? Are they hard clicks? I heard that they have a tape inside that makes the clicks feel sticky but this is solved by opening the mouse and removing said tape.
I'm working on two videos right now, a GPX2 review and vs the x2h mini, as well as a long term x2h mini review. Spoiler alert, the clicks leave ALOT to be desired. I suggest you look somewhere else in this price range, the Glorious D2 pro 1k hz is a good one imo for $99. 4k hz is overhyped, personally.
@@johnchngg I was thinking of buying Pulsar X2H MINI , lamzu atlantis mini , gpro 2.I've been seeing a lot about these mice I saw complaints about the clicks of the pulsar mice that the clicks were sticky but it is solved by opening the mouse and removing a tape that collides with the clicks.I also saw complaints of clicks on the g pro superlight 2 they were very hard. So I'm lost on what to buy hahaha sorry if I wrote something wrong in english

depends on what you like! Think about what you like or dont like about the X2H mini, the grip width, size, hump, shape, performance, weight etc. Depending on your answer for these aspects you will probably point yourself in the right direction! *PREFERENCE* BABY
does this mouse have a high back bump profile? i am a relaxed claw grip and the logitech g305 back hump is really comfortable for me but im looking for a better mouse than the g305
Funny you mention that, I actually have a g305 with me lol. To sum it up, the g305 feels much wider than the X2H shape, and the edges on the g305 are curved downwards on the sides, but as you see in the video, the sides of the x2h are flat. To answer your question, the hump is noticably higher and is rounder than the g305's backside. The best way you can estimate how your hand would sit on the X2H is by holding your g305 like you do normally, and then angle your palm ever so slightly upwards, but maintain your finger positions. You will almost feel like you are holding a ball, but that's really how my hands look clawing the X2H, keeping in mind the slimmer sides. Hopefully I helped! :)

I would be able to make more guesses in how the mouse would feel in your hand if I knew exactly how you hold the mouse but like I said, there are so many different kinds of "relaxed claw grips" out there so I don't want to make assumptions.
still waiting for Pulsar to release the budget wired version of the X2H, can't fathom expending $90+ on a mouse, specially since i don't care about wireless AT ALL.
Completely fair argument, everyone is gunning for wireless these days and its sort of become the norm, but if you want wires, try the Razer DAV3 wired for $70 or the Viper 8k Hz wired for $40! Else try the Zowie C series! all great mice but definitely nothing new these days for the wired users.

i bought and returned a x2h mini. It wasnt good, at least not for me.
I love its shape, and yes since making this video the clicks have gotten worse even on my second copy. more on that in my next videos
