Super Junior having this type of episodes in their shows is opening the gates for other idols to feel comfortable in seeking professional help. To let them know that they are not alone with their pain, depression, and loneliness, that if no one is willing to listen or offer help that they will be there to help/understand in whatever way is needed. Super Junior will try to break the taboo of mental health that is entrenched in the entertainment/idol industry for there not to be and more loss of their brothers/counterparts due to psychological/mental health disorders.
Alexa Fer not only them, a few of other band talk about it through they songs ,when it come to do it on tv sure it's harder ,but sincères Jonghyun suicide their better all not be ashamed to talk about when they can ( and for Leeteuk it's been a while that we know ,and mental illness also run in his family...) Their is no good or bad time to talk about it ,if it's 10 or 10,000 peoples who feel help by listening to an artist talking guenuialy about. They it's always worth it, and prevention should run more...
I really appreciate this too because they’re a 2nd gen k pop group with a lot of influence. Groups like BTS who talk about their own struggles through music can be heard as well. I really do love that SJ did this. I know that Teuk went through a lot with being a leader and dealing with his families deaths. I’m happy he spoke up a bit about his feelings.
Leeteuk spoke about mental health openly. His experience with it, especially after the 2014 incidents, and how it shouldn't be stigmatized. It has been so long but he made a club with SM artists where they can get support for one another to deal with their struggles esp depression. I hope Korea really steps up and finally recognizes mental health as a serious concern.

yes he might have hurt kyu in the first year of their debut or so, but let's not forget how young all of them were back then. Not said that he was right because he did make mistakes, but since they've all forgiven each other, let's also be forgiving and give them all the support they deserve. After all, throughout these years we've truly seen how SJ is like family to each other (that includes Henry and zhoumi too) despite all the fights and bickering. When we support one of them, we support all of them. With so many ELFs leaving the fandom and moving on to younger groups, the ones who stay should unite and forgive them for mistakes they made in the past, especially since Teukie has grown so much and is really one of the best leaders in kpop :)

Majority of the Leaders in KPop groups suffer depression. The pressure of being the one that holds the team together, of being a better role model not only for the members but also the people who looked up to them, the pressure of being good in any way you could possible do especially the leaders of SM. Leeteuk, Taeyeon, Onew and Irene. Sigh, I hope they'll find happiness and finds who they really are and not just fitting themselves into a facade of being tough and fine all the time.
Pyrkaeus Taeyeon and Teuk has always been a topic since long ago and until now , I believe they're still struggling from time to time. Onew I think it got worse after his scandal and Jonghyun. Thank god nothing happened to him in the courts regarding the case. Irene has been nowhere near that level though, she's doing pretty well so far unlike Tae and Teuk who showed signs of being stressed etc since many years ago. I think she's okay right now.

It's not about just money & fame. If they were given enough freedom to express themselves & live their lives on term, they wouldn't have become like this. The way SM manages its artists is shit honestly. And especially the tough competition. Leeteuk was once compared with Heechul who was first in the group to start with his solo activities due to his accident by one of their managers back then. Heechul did jokingly said afterwards how that manager quit later on but they really should realize comparing on face like that is really harmful. It's not as if Teuk was unaware of the competition. you know leeteuk was one of the strongest person i know, imagine when his father commit suicide and about his grandparents that time he was on military how devastating was that, but he overcome that nightmare, maybe b'cause he has his members, friends and of course ELF. Leeteuk really deserve his title being a leader to suju.
One of the reasons why I am still an ELF until now is because they held on for this long, thanks to Leeteuk for being the leader because no matter what happened they are still the last men standing. And if there are antis that are trying to bring Suju down, well then comeback after your faves outlast the existence of Suju, which by the way is far from happening.

Agree. Heechul before was a bit of a one-man teamplayer. But as he grows older and as SuJu continues (along with the scandals and stuff), he's becoming a lot more welcoming, more playful, more available for his dongsaengs. And he cries easily now too or aren't too tight-lipped anymore when it comes to what he feels.

Here's my theory on if for example Heechul was born on the 1st of July & Leeteuk born on the 10th, if SM was smart they would still go for Leeteuk as the leader because he has that Leader aura to him despite looking like he's in his 20's even though he's in his 30's... He looked like responsible person back 2005, and kept his promise to take care of his brothers... It's important to remember that Leeteuk has been through a lot... But despite a lot he managed to keep a composed and proper image only letting the tears fall when it became too overwhelming... I believe that the members know when to give their Teukie hyung space or when he needs a hug... After all, throughout these years we've truly seen how SJ is like family to each other (that includes Henry and zhoumi too) despite all the fights and bickering. When we support one of them, we support all of them. With so many ELFs leaving the fandom and moving on to younger groups, the ones who stay should unite and forgive them for mistakes they made in the past, especially since Teukie has grown so much and is really one of the best leaders in kpop :)

Majority of the Leaders in KPop groups suffer depression. The pressure of being the one that holds the team together, of being a better role model not only for the members but also the people who looked up to them, the pressure of being good in any way you could possible do especially the leaders of SM. Leeteuk, Taeyeon, Onew and Irene. Sigh, I hope they'll find happiness and finds who they really are and not just fitting themselves into a facade of being tough and fine all the time.
Pyrkaeus Taeyeon and Teuk has always been a topic since long ago and until now , I believe they're still struggling from time to time. Onew I think it got worse after his scandal and Jonghyun. Thank god nothing happened to him in the courts regarding the case. Irene has been nowhere near that level though, she's doing pretty well so far unlike Tae and Teuk who showed signs of being stressed etc since many years ago. I think she's okay right now.

It's not about just money & fame. If they were given enough freedom to express themselves & live their lives on term, they wouldn't have become like this. The way SM manages its artists is shit honestly. And especially the tough competition. Leeteuk was once compared with Heechul who was first in the group to start with his solo activities due to his accident by one of their managers back then. Heechul did jokingly said afterwards how that manager quit later on but they really should realize comparing on face like that is really harmful. It's not as if Teuk was unaware of the competition. Even Shindong agrees that there was a tough competition even within their group but reminding them of that again on face would just make it worse for them

you know leeteuk was one of the strongest person i know, imagine when his father commit suicide and about his grandparents that time he was on military how devastating was that, but he overcome that nightmare, maybe b'cause he has his members, friends and of course ELF. Leeteuk really deserve his title being a leader to suju.
One of the reasons why I am still an ELF until now is because they held on for this long, thanks to Leeteuk for being the leader because no matter what happened they are still the last men standing. And if there are antis that are trying to bring Suju down, well then comeback after your faves outlast the existence of Suju, which by the way is far from happening.
I still think if leetuk would not have been the oldest, he still would be the best choice for the group as a leader.

Agree. Heechul before was a bit of a one-man teamplayer. But as he grows older and as SuJu continues (along with the scandals and stuff), he's becoming a lot more welcoming, more playful, more available for his dongsaengs. And he cries easily now too or aren't too tight-lipped anymore when it comes to what he feels.

The realization of the fact that you ARE going through a tough time once you start thinking about everything that has happened to you is when you reach the limit and realized it's okay to cry because you've been strong all this time.

I wish I could have friendship like that . I know my friend for 5 years and we fight for few times and we get to get back . But now 1 year has passed we broke our friendship since the last problem. The reason why suju still has this long career is because they treated each other like brothers and they don't selfish to being successful. Actually many group disbanded because their personally success but suju rather than their own name they put SUPER JUNIOR first. I'm proud of my man .

Here's my theory on if for example Heechul was born on the 1st of July & Leeteuk born on the 10th, if SM was smart they would still go for Leeteuk as the leader because he has that Leader aura to him despite looking like he's in his 20's even though he's in his 30's... He looked like responsible person back 2005, and kept his promise to take care of his brothers...
It's important to remember that Leeteuk has been through a lot... But despite a lot he managed to keep a composed and proper image only letting the tears fall when it became too overwhelming... I believe that the members know when to give their Teukie hyung space or when he needs a hug... Say what you want, Park Jungsoo is an amazing person, it's not a surprise as to why the man's nickname is literally Angel, because he earned his wings~!
