I took an elderly lady to her podiatrist appointment some years back here in Australia (volunteer work) It was Christmas and she had not long picked up the turkey for the coming family reunion which she was to cook and prepare. "It's my birthday today"she said and when I asked how old she said ..105. I checked and it was indeed true.
Okay, mate.
I'm 82 and Canadian. According to you I only have one year to live! Better live it up eh?
It's just an estimate of life expectancy. Only our creator knows how many years we will live.
As of this year my age and life expectancy of my country is almost the same but I'm still alive and healthy, I hope to outlive this life expectancy much much longer 😊😊
4:58 I refuse to believe people in Bangladesh live longer than people in the Czech Republic
It should be 79.82 years the Czech Republic, the numbers are wrong in the video.
Why ??? U think now Bangladesh is still the 1900s Bangladesh. So many cliche u have
Bangladesh shall be 72 Years and is listed as place number 95. Not bad at all, i would be glad if i live that long to be honest. Piece and love brothers!
@@lempereurtravel1755 Bangladesh is known for being one of the most polluted countries in the world

Interesting that some of the highest life expectancy countries are associated with high stress. People of of Japan, South Korea, Hongkong, etc. are under constant stress during to the conditions they live in, work demands, and yet have high life expectancy. Could diet and family connectivity be the answer?
They may live a bit longer due to having different diets and lifestyles or work schedules, but yet they are also alot more prone and exposed to environmental hazards and diseases tho... Because of the much higher concentrations of people living together with them in such cramped/overcrowded spaces with extremely dense populations in certain parts of Asia. Like Indonesia for example, TONS of people all over the place and living in confined spaces. Plenty of people there are living in poverty and could not even afford proper home air-conditioning or clean living environments. Whole entire families of 6+ or more people, all sleeping in the same bedrooms or same beds. People I know who have visited Hong Kong or Shenzhen during the summer, say that all their clothes can get dirty like hell and soiled from just wearing them around for only 1 day. Riding around in public transportation; like the buses and the MTR, all jam-packed with LOADS and LOADS of dirty, smelly, sweaty-ass elderly people. Sneezing, farting, and breathing on you like EVERYWHERE... T-shirts and underwear can go from white to black like literally overnight! 😝
@@OtomoTenzi Indonesia has a life expectancy of around 67 so not a comparison to Japan Hong Kong or South Korea with life expectancies in the 80s. Also nothing to do with dirty t shirts.
Cuz in hong kong, the place is very packed and compact. Hospitals and clinics are very accessible and close to people.
@@ian7033-qj9wg The dirty shirts and smelly underwear is a direct result from air pollution; with such a dense population, but otherwise Indonesians are among the CLEANEST and NEATEST people I've ever seen.

In the Czech Republic, the average life expectancy is not 73.7, but much higher: 79.82 years (77.02 for man, 82.58 for women. It is above USA, Estonia, Croatia, .... Some data in your video are patently wrong.
It's wrong, but vice versa. In many "developed" countries (Australia, Canada, the UK, maybe the Czech Republic too) the life expectancy is tremendously low now. Maybe, 40-45 years or even lower. Since 2021. We all know what happened then 😢 And people continue dying en masse 😢
@@user-ti3wk6zs1rthat's BS we in Australia had very little adverse reaction to epidemic because we listened to scientific medical opinions. Unlike the USA which had the highest toll from the epidemic in the world . If the USA had the same results as Australia per capita there would be an extra 800 000 Americans alive today .
@user-ti3wk6zs1r Facts shift over time data isn't always available. One thing China does that is a win - win for the hospitals, customers and the CCP is selling body parts of young executed young men. They have special vans staffed with trained educated doctors using advanced science .
Only jesus knows the life of a person🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@user-ti3wk6zs1r Australian life expectancy at the current time is around 81+ years . We live on average 3.5 years longer than Americans .
Lifespan vs Healthspan.
Lifespan is the total number of years we live whereas healthspan is how many of those years we remain healthy and free from disease.
Rip great grandma 15/7/1915 - 2/27/2024 108 years, because I live in Canada

Depends on your work, living a long time is one thing but quality of life is another.
So if they're different things it doesn't😵
Who judges quality of live. I have medical conditions they don't bother me at all. Take my pills and just forget them just because y have a medical condition does not mean you feel ill. I don't even get colds
Winter vomiting bug I don't get that I'm never ill so I don't feel unhealthy
@@tenniskinsella7768Quality of life is where for instance child labour is used in mining for instance. Certain jobs can cause an early demise where no precaution for using on site Mercury in gold processing. As many have found out the COVID jab caused side effects and I know a young child who got heart damage, healthy before jab, and cannot run or exert himself. I know many exceptional talented people who some would say their quality of life is poor being deformed or loss of limbs etc. They have an amazing zest and outperform those who have everything.
Quality of life is affected by drug users whom i helped with food and counseling predominantly Heroin users. Many use substances that make them crazy.
Recently a case of a drug user made him kill his mother and cut off her head. His mother's quality of life ended when his lifestyle made him decapitate his own mother.
Actually the quality of a person's life and the length of it are very much related. Poor living conditions, high levels of stress etc shorten people's lives.
Wow !
You can have poor habits and still live longer than those who live proactive life
You can, but I wouldn't want to bet on it! Better to live a balanced life.
To live a long and healthy life, pick your ancestors carefully.

Good question. I was wondering about that also.
My wife is 86 (87 in august) and I am 84 ( 85 in may) We outlived the expectancy.
Some are quite fortunate!
I question Haiti at 64 years of age.
Excellent
The snow was a nice touch. 🌨
I wish we had more details like quality of life. I personally would not like to be around if I’m bedridden, if I’m not being able to take care of myself. I would not like to be a burden to my kids or for them to go broke because they have to pay to put me in a home because they have jobs and are not able to care for me.
Sweden, Denmark, Norway have good standards. Many healthy elderly in these countries.
@@Largo1845 And Asian countries like Japan with good general healthcare systems and reverence toward seniority and lived experience.
To give you an idea of my age, more that half of these countries didn't exist when I was taught geography in grade school.
Taiwan is about 100miles of the coast of China.
sorry to say GUAM is part of the USA teritory not its own country Puetro rico too
But they are distinct and completely separate entities and therefore their life expectancy can be measured separately. You're missing the entire point of the exercise by focusing on meaningless things.
Thanks for an interesting video
My great grandfather lived to 100 🇺🇸
My grandma 97, I'm sure she would have made it to 100 had covid not taken her.
It also depends on the generation people were born in...
@@DawnaTMy dad lived to be 77... And I strongly believe, that he prolly could've been around for like a few more years if he hadn't smoked or drank so much and suffered a stroke! 😥
My maternal grandmother was born in 1897 and lived to be 103! She had been born prematurely and delivered by her father, the town doctor, and had not been expected to live. She has been "sickly" when she was very young so my great-grandfather went against convention and encouraged her to be very physically active, doing things that "only boys" were expected to do to build strength. The idea worked, and my grandmother was very healthy up until about a year before she died.
@@melissapinol7279Good to hear about your grandmother having lived such a long and happy life... I wish the same for you! I guess people tend to stay around longer when they have found a will and a purpose to go on living. Please take care!

The highest ranked have national healthcare. Whoda thunk it would make a difference!!
The best healthcare is not requiring a doctor. It's called leading a proactive, healthy life. Maintain a strong natural immune system without prescription meds; a doctor cannot provide you with that. Take personal responsibilty for it...
Wrong, it is about healthful lifestyles, primarily diet.
Biased.
I totally agree. Even if one leads a healthy lifestyle, one may be reluctant to go for medical help when faced with high bills or private insurance fine print dodges.
With good genes, 90+ shouldn't be a problem. I feel like I'm seeing so many healthy 80-year olds these days, that seem to be far from death.
My English mother sadly passed away a few weeks ago aged 90 😢 she passed the age of a British person.

@@nerd_cassettewhat’s with the blur in 0:53 - 1:15?
I would like to know how the average is calculated. If newborn/child mortality is included in the average, than countries with high child mortality obviously have a much lower total average. That does not mean that everybody round 60 can die any minute.
This is fake. Just take Ukraine g it's probably 45
And in any case... What % of people living beyond 60 really contributes economically to his/her country? Spending your pension money or sucking at the arses of the taxpayer forcing them to pay for a miserable life after 60. And then at present nearly 40% of old timers are hogging properties needed for a more productive life, an improved economy, a better world!!! Ad Widd 2024 (age 76)...

When you say, Israel is not a country, let’s see you travel there without a passport or a visa. The non-country of Israel like just like a country and they will not allow you to come in so just because you say it doesn’t mean it’s true.
Life expectancy seems to be lower in riskier countries.

Macau and Hong Kong aren’t countries they’re regions of China. Sub Sahara Africa has a lot of problems obviously. I wasn’t expecting Australia to be so high as indigenous people die on average 20 years younger than other inhabitants. Japanese have a high life expectancy seeing smoking is prevalent there
400,000 Aboriginal people in Australia out of a population of 27 million. Only 1.48%...
The Japanese have a much different diet and lifestyle than the West...
Is war deaths accounted into life expectancy

No income tax in Monaco and they are number one for longevity. Coincidence? Also it is obvious that rich people live longer.
Why do so many countries in the southern hemisphere put the Southern Cross on their flags? Is that the only constellation visible in the southern hemisphere?
colder country live longer, hot weather make more contagious diseases. advanced country live longer, easy to understand, better heathy care, eat healthier. east asia and south Europe liver longer, eat healthier, less suger and red meat. America unsurprisingly acting bad, because of obesity
Singapore?
We have many additives in our food that other Countries ban. Many seniors can't retire..Gov. keeps pushing the retirement age higher, plus cost of living too high to retire..you work until you die.
Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau aren't cold at all and are at the top countries.
Is more like temperate climates, Mongolia and Russia are colder than almost all Europe and aren't higher.
In some cases the country might have a decent to high standards of life like Czech Republic or the United States, but bad diet and alcoholism are a major factor.

America is ranked 42... so much for "first world"
It's dragged down by red states. Hawaii, for example, is ranked higher than the UK and Germany.
