I've traveled on sampark kranti within first few months of it's launch from Yesvantpur to Delhi. I remember it was a non-stop train at that time with only a technical stop at Secunderabad. Slowly, few stops got added over time. Total time was about 36 hours compared to other trains taking around 48 hours.

This sampark kranti used to travel via Hyderabad-Gooty-Anantpur-Dharmavaram-Hindupur-Yelahanka to Yeshwantpur, and this route is the shortest route from Delhi to Bengaluru. Now, after covid, this route is very long, and it takes approx 45 hours, earlier it took around 36 hours.
yes when i was travelling in Yesvantpur kamakhya ac sf exp the train route was diverted and it was having so many curves and seriously it was so boring
Actually there are 2 sampark kranri trains. One takes around 45 hours to reach bangalore and goes via pune. Another train goes via the route u mentioned and reaches bangalore in less than 36 hours

Are you not disturbed by odd pulsating sound? This sound was not there in ICF coaches, but on LHB coaches it has become a norm. One side tracks are welded, that reduces sound, other side wheels are making this loud sound. Try to discover the root cause. Hope you were able to sleep.
Flat wheel noises, plus some loose squeaking panels. All because of mass production, quality deteriorated. Earlier LHB coaches, made before 2015 or 2016 don't have these sounds. It also depends on maintenance. I still love the sound isolation of ICF coaches.

I think taking Gatimaan from Delhi to Jhansi and then boarding Sampark Kranti from Jhansi to Hyderabad would be a good option to travel between Delhi and Hyd in 24 hours. Advantages of Gatimaan experience and super fast speed of Sampark Kranti :)

You can never compare it. 1st AC live hot food+ service you get is non comparable. In rajhdhani its included in ticket cost. In other trains you pay it n quality depends on what and from where you ordered food

I think there are 2 Karnataka Sampark Kranti trains.The one which goes via Pune takes longer duration to reach destination in up and down directions.
This one goes via pune and its takes around 45 hours to reach bangalore

It's better than 1A food. Taste and quality is above Rajdhani standards and price is par or to it. You can go for Railofy food with eyes closed.
