My mother severed all ties with me, at 15 a girl without a home just because i converted, 15 years down the line still she doesn't want anything to do with me ,in fact she wishes i die, she even asked me in a text, i lost close people but Alhadullilah i have Islam the priceless Gift from Allah
We pray for you sister can’t imagine how difficult that can be! Allah will reward you immensely for all your hardship. What an amazing person you are like the companions of the prophet (pbuh)
May Allah bless Ummi she’s such a vibrant personality ! Very devoted to her deen and strong knowledgeable and intellectual woman ! May Allah grant her goodness in both worlds ❤❤❤
Allahuma Ameen! La haula wala quuwata ila billah! Barakallahu FiiK for your kind words. May Allah accept our efforts and make our affairs easy... Allahuma Ameen.
Being born a Muslim I never knew how blessed I am until I join Tiktok. The thing we took for granted as Muslims is now waking us up... Today I thank Allah for this gift. I am happy to know the sister shared the same motherland with me....
Thank you all for your encouraging feedback! Barakallahu Fiikum! Our journey to Jannah continues. May Allah accept our efforts and make our affairs easy... Allahuma Ameen.
Mashallah sister you just given me life to cover..I’ve been wanting to cover but I haven’t bc where I live ai am the only Muslim I know one of..I have covered and really mean things have been said to me..from my own ppl..
MashAllah you are amazingly strong in your iman. Your journey of faith in Islam has been challenging and audacious but your perseverance has overcome all obstacles.
This is a great talk ! Light hearted in the telling but real issues that muslim women face !MashaAllah. I love the advice to study study while you put the man ( that might have introduced you to Islam ) to the side for 6 months and learn .!
Your journey is inspiring. May Allah continue to bless it. One thing that stood out for me is the hijab. It is challenging especially in societies that are Islamophobic. In Uganda, it was so easy to wear the hijab because there are visibly many Ugandan muslims. But I faced a challenge when I moved to the US. I tried to cover my hair but I think I put too much pressure on myself in such a society that has been made to believe that muslim women are oppressed. One time, a teacher asked me in class why I covered my hair and I said "I like it." She didn't say anything after that. I feel like it's better to ease into covering by taking baby steps and with time, it becomes natural and normal. The challenge comes from the haram police ( some muslims who take it upon themselves to call out others for not doing some act of worship right). Some of these people maybe right but their approach can cause especially a new revert to feel opposed to their new faith. May Allah guide us all.
Sallam, welcome dear brother/sister. Please contact iera they have revert programs and connect you with other Muslims in your area. You can also get in touch with me and I will help with anything you need. You are not on your own. May Allah make your journey easy one.

Umi Wabomba you just make my day with this interview you granted may Allah continue to protect you ,increase your knowledge and continue to lead you to the right path may Allah accept it as an act of Ibadah honestly Umi this is just a sermon for all good listener may Allah grant all your heart desires.
Welcome to Deen Al haq. I'm from western watching you from 🇸🇦 . I'm from a Christian background. I know a lot more knowledge about Allah than when I was in xtianity.i only knew how to sing songs.... you sound like a maragoli if I'm not wrong. I went through challenges but alhamdulillah Allah strengthened me.
Sister mentions "Shaykh Khalid Yasin, he is very knowledgeable (I am American), I encourage you to listen to his lectures. Also, other younger shykhs, like, shykh Omar Suleiman, shykh Mufti Mink, shykh Belal Assaad (Austerlian).
I know even some born Muslims who doesn't put on hijab, being a true Muslim is quite a challenge and requires great commitment and pedigree. Sometimes, revertees are even easy to follow this journey than born Muslims, revert chose to take that path but born Muslim you naturally found yourself there. Reverts are always good in commitments than we born Muslims.
@@umiwabomba very true, if your Parents didn't nurtured you in a way of Allah and gives you Islamic knowledge, many became an empty vessel, lost, and so ignorant. Just like many Christian by birth and name but hardly goes to church, I know some brothers and sisters out there who are none commited
IGNORANCE(JAHILIYA) is the main impediment to people embracing Islam. IGNORANCE of the fact that Islam is the only religion that Allah(swt) has decreed to Mankind to worship Him through and that all other religions are not accepted by Him. Also, the IGNORANCE of non - Muslims about what it means to be a Muslim is another barrier preventing them from accepting Islam. This is why it is important that Muslims fulfil the command of Allah(swt) by INVITING people to Islam as stated in the Quran, Chapter 12, Verse 108: "Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah ; and I am not of those who associate others with Him."
Congratulations sister for embracing Islam or Submission ONLY to God(Allah) without associating partners with Him in worship(e.g. Trinity) or worshipping other deities-Zeus, Apollo, Osiris, Athena, Diana, Baal, Hubal, Hanuman, Laat, Uzzat, Manaat etc. Since your objective is to eliminate misconceptions, I would suggest you don't only use the word Allah but also use God, Mungu, Ngai, Nyasae etc so that people can easily understand your message. God(Allah) is One(as in One in One) for all people. The First Muslims were Adam(pbuh) and Eve(Hawa-Gbph) and all prophets of God including Jesus(pbuh), Moses(pbuh), Abraham(pbuh) were Muslims or Submittees ONLY to God(Allah) without associating partners with Him in worship or worshipping other deities. Exclusive use of the word Allah, will mislead Non-Muslims to wrongly assume that "Allah is the god of Muslims". There are Muslims who wrongly insist that Allah is "the name of God" like Ali, Bob or John. The same with Non-Muslims. Allah means God, Mungu, Ngai, Nyasae, Eebe etc. You only specify that Allah is The One Trinitarian Christians mistakenly call "The Father of Jesus".
My mother severed all ties with me, at 15 a girl without a home just because i converted, 15 years down the line still she doesn't want anything to do with me ,in fact she wishes i die, she even asked me in a text, i lost close people but Alhadullilah i have Islam the priceless Gift from Allah

Don't worry Umi. Names are not an intergral part of Islam. Maybe John will enter the heaven and Abdul to the opposite.
