I have never seen someone as talented as Mick Foley. You can talk about Mic skills or pure strength, but nobody else would shrug off a move like the Sunset Flip other than Mick.
This is very well done and researched, I never realised quite how often he did some of these. His move set is pretty basic but very believable and exciting still. One of the great simplistic wrestlers
Foley called his piledriver the stump puller because of the jerky nature of it. I have heard the stump/stunt puller used as a submission move name before though, so hard to say I guess.
Yes, it is. The full name of the Foley move is the stump puller piledriver. If you notice, he doesn't grab his opponents around the waist and lift them up. He pulls them up by the tights. That's the difference and why it's called what it is called.
So Mick would stupidly take his own back body drops (the concrete sunset flips), hurting his own body more than his opponents. Is it any wonder that he walks the way he does today?
Would you believe he’s hardly ever injured anyone but himself? In his matches he actually makes it a point to absorb more of the bump than his opponent would.
@@671r3aLiTyCh3cK i noticed that, thats why i love him. but the rock showed no mercy on him in i quit match and undertaker too in hell in a cell 1994. i feel really bad for him , management went overboard with foley. true legend till this day.

Mick Foley doesn't get talked about too much about his Elbow drop!

Hi Mr noob fans
I think a falling powerbomb as a rare signature move would of worked for mankind.
Man his size doing that is just amazing
Cactus clothesline in a royal rumble would be disastrous
The Clothesline at 5:43 was actually in the Rumble. Eliminated himself and Orton.
@@gsvibwd7321 lol true
@@gsvibwd7321 is stump puller actually cactus driver 97 that Sami Callahan incorporates?
@@gsvibwd7321 fyr 12:21
yeah it would
Jesus, Foley really didn't ease up on those corner knees, did he?
Cool as fuck sir Cool as fuck.
I've never heard the apron elbow drop called a hipbuster. Is that a technical name?
Diving elbow drop.
Busted his own hip
One thing I’ve learned from this video is that he should not have done Stump Pullers on opponents wearing trunks instead of tights 😂
I have the same opinion about Undertaker and the last ride.
The sunset to the floor… why Foley?? It hurts watching.
Hey man love your stuff. Will you be doing a best moves of August video?
Thanks mate, yeah I'm working on it now. Just got side tracked with the Mick Foley stuff haha
@@gsvibwd7321 looking forward to it 👍🏻
Have a nice day!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He messed up so bad there 4:23💀
Isn’t a stump puller a submission move?

He did it for the love of wrestling.

@Pryde 671 yeah I'm watching this video and I can see that too. when Mick did that neckbreaker on Kane it looked like it effected him more than Kane
@Hannah Abdi yeah that's also why I love him too. he manages to get his opponent at times but also makes sure they don't get super hurt from it too
You're ill-informed and wrong.
