About your analysis of the peak pre-halving meaning a shorter cycle: Technically if you re-calculate the bitcoins price with inflationary numbers since the last BTC ATH then BTC did not even make an ATH. Yes the top price is higher, but the demand side of the ATH is lower than the previous ATH. Since supply/demand drive price, i would doubt this would be a shortened cycle..

And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. Seems difference now is mining profitability is much narrower. It was already a narrow energy cost tradeoff before, but now gonna be challenging. I would say we should prep for all scenarios as the market has always been unpredictable. So boring that new type of analyses are coming out monthly from all analysts and youtubers. I must say tradlng offers far more benefits than just holding, I will advise traders esp newbies to have orientation of trading before they get involved in it. I accept things are changing and have to be reconsidered by time.... but not just that fast like these analysts and youtubers are doing. I've managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21B'tc in the space of a few months... I still think that any bad news will drop the BTC price below 60k with little or no support or resistance until 51k is hit. If and when this happens, I expect almost all other crypto currencies to drop another 25% with Ethereum going below 2,500 dollars. I'm not setting buying amounts based on the fiat currency levels, I'm putting buy and sell orders based on if a coin drops suddenly in relation to BTC. I'm avoiding all Meme coins and secondary assets that can only be transacted indirectly without using fiat cash, BTC, or Ethereum, because the volatility is too much. If I'm wrong, then no open contracts will close and I won't lose money and the overall investment accounts of everyone should go up. If some or all my lower bids execute, then everyone's crypto accounts will generally be valued lower, but I would have acquired coins at much lower prices then simply deciding to buy at any current fiat price level. I don't see the point of selling any asset you believe in for at least the next 6 months even if the bull market is more left sided which means a shorter duration bull.

Learn not to sell in a panic when everything goes down and not to buy in euphoria when everything goes up. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. Bitcoin going up is good for the entire market and you can not tell if it's going bearish or bullish. About your analysis of the peak pre-halving meaning a shorter cycle: Technically if you re-calculate the bitcoins price with inflationary numbers since the last BTC ATH then BTC did not even make an ATH. Yes the top price is higher, but the demand side of the ATH is lower than the previous ATH. Since supply/demand drive price, i would doubt this would be a shortened cycle..

And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. I am not sure they are undervalued but at least they are less over-valued..This pattern offers a valuable insight for strategic planning. I would say we should prep for all scenarios as the market has always been unpredictable. So boring that new type of analyses are coming out monthly from all analysts and youtubers. I must say tradlng offers far more benefits than just holding, I will advise traders esp newbies to have orientation of trading before they get involved in it. I still think that any bad news will drop the BTC price below 60k with little or no support or resistance until 51k is hit. If and when this happens, I expect almost all other crypto currencies to drop another 25% with Ethereum going below 2,500 dollars. I'm not setting buying amounts based on the fiat currency levels, I'm putting buy and sell orders based on if a coin drops suddenly in relation to BTC. I'm avoiding all Meme coins and secondary assets that can only be transacted indirectly without using fiat cash, BTC, or Ethereum, because the volatility is too much. If I'm wrong, then no open contracts will close and I won't lose money and the overall investment accounts of everyone should go up. If some or all my lower bids execute, then everyone's crypto accounts will generally be valued lower, but I would have acquired coins at much lower prices then simply deciding to buy at any current fiat price level. I don't see the point of selling any asset you believe in for at least the next 6 months even if the bull market is more left sided which means a shorter duration bull.

What I’m concerned about is how this halving event is different from that of 2020. We were rounding the corner of going from a republican president to a democratic one, which can cause disturbances in the market. I think it was clear Trump wouldn’t get a 2nd term well before the primaries, and also notice the all time high was reached about 6 months into the democratic term. I don’t think that’s coincidental. The question now is which party will hold office for the upcoming term, and that will determine the new all time high and my exit strategy.
