It was very slow! I have to find out what the top players are doing to catch as many fish as they do. Maybe they do not spod at all. Or maybe their mix is to gain more catches vs bigger fish. This week I placed 5th with 5 fish in net and one was a uni Silver. Last week I caught 7 fish in net with 2 of them being Silvers and I placed 4th, I think. I ended up sing a 10/0 instead of your 14/0 Cap'n hook. It was taking way too long to hook a fish. I need more practice with them, I think. I catch more fish with a 6/0 hook, so I have to make sure that I change hook size after getting my big fish. Last week with a spod I was still getting 66pound unis but more fish in net. I tried Roadwarriors Lake Flacid mix and was getting 75-pound unis but may have had to do with hooks size limiting what I got. I used 10/0. I just need to figure these comps out. I saw some players that were in the comp when I did at the beginning and were still in play at the end of the 2 hour mark. But we still get just 45 minutes for comp play so they have to be taking breaks and in and out. But how would that increase their catches? Maybe it doesn't. But they sure put a whopping on me the last 30 minutes of the comp 2-hour play window. Like they took a big pause after the server shut down then came back and socked it to me big time, LOL. I do comps on mobile because there are a much lower number of participants than on PC or Playstation.
@yvonnefoy1194 that place was good without mix at one time and then it stop worked we tested the over size mix it was super good went back there it was like we never been there before. That’s place isn’t worth the effort anymore after they have been messing with the map. I know you can catch 2 uniques for that first peak after you of to skip to keep farm. In comps there exploits so you never know who playing fair.
Quick question mate i am new to carp fishing is it okay if i dont use the recipe? and if so will then the bites be much slower?, im sorry im still a bit confused on how to use them properly.
All good and no it’s not necessary to use mix it’s mainly for fast bites and oversized carps it will be much slower without it but still possible to fish without.
Make sure your using the right bait and the right depth. I recently been there on stream and the 100 pounders were bitting and am sorry to hear you not getting them and tbh it’s slow there so don’t rush it.

I can’t be bothered with all that mixing “crap”, waste of time, the game should be easier to catch Carp than this. I can catch Carp easier anywhere than this part of the game portrays, a real scam of game money and a “really boring map”. Two thumbs down to Fishing Planet on this one.

I would normally use the tehnooplankton on sunny days and vegetables on cloudy 😉
Honestly if that works for you keep using those baits and the peaks for me it’s vegetables on sunny technoplankton on cloudy 😅

I threw the whole mix and got a couple trophies on the bottom rods but nothing on the float rod with 14/0.

This recipe actually worked better than scoopa Dave’s I’ve test both multiple times. But iv found another similar that works great aswell

I can understand the frustration this map I recently been bad for bighead and sliver carp really slow even using the mix.
