Can I ask why the written music is in key of c but you are singing in a different key than what is written .
Just easiest to notate that way, when then we can transpose and do it in any key that works! I like to start in one key and then move it up and down by half steps.

I do this exercise with various sounds. At the end it was just "nah nah" - works great on a lip trill, a bright nyah, weeee, or anything else you'd like to try!
