One of the fuddu govts are Punjab govts. We all know that Doaba is NRI region and they should have invested long time back for international airport in this region. But instead of this, they invested in Amritsar, it still have not got that success. Another chance they missed when Badal created in Chandigarh instead of Jalandhar because they have their hotels and own personal interest. Again, almost 10-12 years back they went after Bathinda airport which was totally a failure. The day, they announced Civil airport in adampur, airlines showed their interest like anything, even some of international airlines offered to start international flights but idiotic govt didn't approve and went after Halwara airport. They all knows that Doaba has more potential as compared to other region but nobody bothers as all big politicians are belongs to Majha and Malwa region.
