Each level is explained well supported with an excellent demo and good tabs. The levels progress in a logical manner and build nicely on each previous one. This is an outstanding training video.
Amazing tutorial, Scot. Its been a very long time I was looking for a simplified version like this. Thank you, I hope you will teach every other Flamenco method/technique.
You break it down really nice. I found that my level is 5-6. I still have to work on 7. Regarding the wrist tension, you can help that by tilting the guitar forward a little. It's a little counter intuitive because you won't see the strings but in flamenco you realize that you don't really need to see the strings. I learned that from Kai Narezo. Cheers.
The way you teach is very valuable , it’s important to show the technique from your perspective, it’s like learning how to hold the pencil ✏️, very good teacher 👨🏫 patience
Brilliant video, loved it! Beautifully explained and cleverly broken down into accessible stages with the final result sounding authentic and dynamic. Will certainly be trying this one out. Also liked the brief snippet of bossa nova there. Thanks Scot 👍🙏❤😎
Really cool. I am very happy with your videos. Started Classica Guitar almost 2 years ago (learning from Juan Martin's Book) and your guides are awsome :)
I really struggle with the right hand technique but i am new to this stile of playing . Can this style be done only well on a spanish guitar . I am using an Ovation currently and doesn't appear suitable .
I would recommend only playing this on a nylon string guitar, particularly for the rasgueos. If you play rasgueos on a steel string, you can shred your nails and it will sound harsh as well
one of the best guitar lessons youtube has to offer.
Wow thanks!
Scot is a great teacher. After 43 years playing rock guitar, I’m re-learning guitar in the Flamenco tradition.
Yes!!! 🙌
If this is not your best lesson so far, it is certainly is one of the best ever! Thank you Scott!😎
