The part about podcasts vs standup.. Comedians are expected to be funny all the time. That's why some comedians suck at podcasting. Because they are better writers than personalities. He was probably just trying to be the "class clown" guy when put on the spot and everyones attention is on him.
I mean, Imma be real. The joke about his girlfriend yelling at him like a black woman was not offensive. People are just doin too much these days.

From experience, I know people like Pete who acts like everything is normal, makes jokes of their issues and sprinkled moments of honesty about their depression. Without the right people by their side, they will kill themselves. You need to be there for people who make jokes like that. You can laugh with them, but being approachable saves lives

the joke about the stereotype of black women was funny because we all know its a stereotype. regardless of the context hes a comedian and just because hes on a podcast doesnt mean anything because when he was a little kid acting out in the classroom he was still acting out then without being on stage. Point is its apart of his personality and him saying his girlfriend yells at him like a black woman is just applying a stereotype regardless of the validity to paint a picture of his wife in a way that is clearly a joke. Nothing racist about it. Though some could argue that the joke in and of itself wasnt bad but saying it to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people emboldens racism but if youre racist you arent watching the breakfast club podcast to begin with.

I can respect Pete for being able to get with beautiful women. What I can’t respect is the fact that they’ve been vulnerable in most senses. Ariana and Mac along with Kim and Kanye were both going through breakups. And I can take a guess that he sent pictures to both Kanye and Mac which is just down right wrong to do , rub something in someone’s face. He got lucky and knew how to get his name out there but imo he’s a piece of dookie for putting others down. Kanye could have deserved it for being crazy towards Kim but Mac was nothing but respectful.
