Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden on military exercise - tested rocket launcher

Today Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the flag ceremony and handover to Älvsborgs amphibious regiment, Amf 4, outside Gothenburg. Crown Princess Victoria was wearing military clothing. The Crown Princess also hade a tour of the regiment and tryed and watched military supplies like machine guns, grenade launchers, armor shots, first aik kit and talking to loads of soldiers - men and women. She also tried a guiding laser system.

I love the military career but above all working for governments and doing the right thing she is a perfect and very fascinating queen more than ever in uniform I love 😘💕 only I just love him

I didn't know she was in the military??!!????!!! Or is she just wearing it cause she's there?! Really awesome to see this though. We need to support and be there for our military people, US where I'm from and military that are there as well. I have such huge respect for them.

The monarch of Sweden is the foremost representative of the Swedish Armed Forces. As the heir to the throne it’s only natural she’s involving herself in these matters. She doesn’t hold any official rank though. Her brother Prince Carl-Philip does hold the rank of major though.

I believe Princess Victoria does not hold any official duties in the armed forces, until she accedes the swedish throne.
She does however have Basic military training for Volunteers and is currently enrolled in some kind of program for officers.

Usually all the monarchs in Europe are the Chief of the Royal Forces, therefore will have training. In Spain is 3 years. William of England is a helicopter pilot. The exception is Netherlands, I think
