After 4 days of auctions, I finally found a locker worth bidding on, and I bought it. I paid $1,800 for it, which a lot of money, but it looked clean and well organized, and I saw some expensive items which gave me a feeling. So far that feeling has proved correct, as I've found lots of high end items and even cash and gift cards!
The heat wave is relentless, and bringing with it all sorts of problems, including an electrical storm which has lit wild fires all over the Bay Area. But that hasn't stopped me from finding treasures in this locker; wait until you see what we found this time!

I can't believe you found even more money. I think you've recouped a little over a 1/3 of the cost of the locker in just cash and gift cards. That's incredible!!!

Wow Jack some more cold hard cash nice find for sure! Those girls sure were spoiled for sure! I know like you I would not look in and save any and all cash that would come my way, but like you said they look like they got pretty much anything and everything that their little hearts desired. Its a shame because there are so many kids out there that do not get much of anything in their whole life so sad to know that it go's from one extreme to another. Great video Jack, be careful in that heat stay hydrated and don't stay out in it too long you don't want heat stroke. Looking forwarding to watching some of your on line auction tonight. Lightning and thunder on Saturday, very rare for us. Some lightning-strike fires in the area, one small and quickly subdued, but one needing more time to contain. We're fortunate to have an expanded tanker base at the Santa Maria Airport with service available over a wide area. Power also out on Saturday for 5 hours, in BOTH VALLEYS. In the midst of our heat, that's tough. Especially for our elders and hospice patients and their families. Many are on oxygen, but we provide back-up for those folks.---I loved to hear you break out in song! Do that more often!
I had a colleague from San Diego ....we used to meet a couple times a year at corporate headquarters in Dallas....the first time he experienced a thunder storm.....he screamed like a girl....he asked “ how do you people live with this????? “...🤣🤣🤣

When they got a birthday gift of cash they just tossed it to the side. They knew they didn’t have to ever use it on themselves. They were never taught the value of money. So sad!

I was thinking the same thing. I hope he checks all the pockets in the pants and coats and jackets.
My ex bf used to leave money in has clothes all the time and I would find it while doing laundry. Anything over a 100 I would give him but anything under I would keep. He knew. He never used a wallet ever. There would be money in the door of the truck, the center console. He was the crew leader and foreman of our roofing company and sometimes he would leave the money we had to pay the guys in the door. A couple times I opened the door and money fell out.

I would always take the soap and shampoo while on vacation, when I returned home I would Donate them to a homeless shelter. They can always use them.
Now most hotels have the body wash, shampoo and conditioner attached to the walls so they do not loose all that money.

The locker that keeps on giving! Its hard to believe that they couldn't or wouldn't pay the bill. Maybe something happened to the wife and girls and he just packed up their stuff and stored it. Keep up the good work Jack.

Here’s a interesting but weird trick. When it’s hot, always wet your towel for your neck or your headband it HOT water because when it cools down it stays very cool but when you wet them in cold water, your body heat makes the material hotter

Jack, don’t overlook refrigerator magnets. If you sell them as a lot you can make some nice cha-ching! I’ve sold a bucket of them for about $80 one time.

Those red envelopes were wedding gifts at the reception. People would take an envelope, put money in it, & drop it in the box.
Seems several of those red envelopes were given to their children as well. Maybe birthday gifts, graduation, etc.
Such crazy weather in San Francisco! Loud thunder some lightning, and then you hit it on the nose when you said the rain was like shower water so refreshing after a sweltering heat so sweaty could hardly breathe

did you check the serial numbers on the money in the little red envelopes? many times the lucky numbers on money will fetch a higher price to be saved or given as gifts in (dont quote me on the nationality now) chinese ppl and other asian countries place high value on certain "lucky" numbers and if a paper bill has those numbers then it s worth more to them

I dated a Chinese girl for about 4 years and every year they would have what's called their Chinese New Year and the the parents or Elder people would give out red envelopes to the kids with money in it

I know you asked him not me and it was 6 months ago. I just watched all his series for this auction. He bought all of the boxes and bins from the original locker and moved every single one to his personal storage unit. It seems he keeps his "treasures" to sell in this personal locker with some at his home too..i would guess he either owns his own storage locker or rents it for months at a time. 😊

Not yet, but once I had the owner see some of their items listed on Facebook marketplace and sent me a message through FB. She was cool though, and just asked for her personal things back, and I was happy to tell her that they were waiting at the facility with the manager already.
The cards etc make me sad
they have lots of family that will keep sending them more, I've done cleanouts for people that have saved every card from their lifetime ,,, they are just paper in the end.
If they would have went through their stuff for money , they would have been able to pay the rent on their locker. Of course , then you would not have gotten it . lol
it's possible, they just didn't care about whatever was in the unit, including the cash. But if that was the case, then why even put it all in storage in the first place?
I wonder what hapend to this family.
Its funny to me because if they used just the cash from the unit the owners could have paid their bill!

Would love to know the history of this family. Like you I don't understand how they didn't care about the money they received and then also all of the brand new and even the used things in the locker and they didn't care to pay for their locker and be able to have it all.
Either they were so rich that they didn’t care, or they lost everything and couldn’t pay for it. It is mysterious

Something tragic likely happened to the whole family. From the contents he is finding this was not something planned such as a move.
I don't think it's fair to assume they didn't care. I think it's likely that they encountered some sort of hardship.

My guess is the stamped it, thinking it made it lucky, kinda like putting them in red envelopes. It was indeed lucky... for me!

Those with the Chinese writing are "Casino Training Notes" for new employees to learn US currency. I had a friend who had a bunch of those, one of his ex-girlfriends kept "bugging him for money until he gave her a "Chinese/American $100....No more asking (and girl "friend.")😉
