    hi. thank you for this video. was trying to do this at home and been having trouble. the saw that I got keeps breaking so I am using a home depo saw is it going to work that same? its a wider saw type too.

    • @GomeowCreations

      Sadly no the thicker or wider saw will not work for this. Also that I know of Home Depot don't have the right saw blades for this at all.
      Breaking saw blades is normal when you are learning. I suggest practicing a lot more before trying something with this much sawing. I do make this look very easy but it's because I have 100's of hours doing it. 😁👍

    Super helpful video. That's some true craftsmanship! Do you recommend using 1.15 mm thick plate as the best option? Do you work harden the 1.8mm thick plate?

    • @GomeowCreations
      @GomeowCreations  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks. At 1.8mm it wouldn't matter if it was harded or not. I do suggest using a tumbler after making it to work harden it and clean it all up.

    Hi, I would like to know if the gold sheet you're using is stainless or wouldn't tarnish over time? I am considering on doing this, but I would like it to last longer and hold its beauty. Thank you

    • @GomeowCreations
      @GomeowCreations  4 роки тому +2

      So I just used brass in this video so it will tarnish and it will make peoples skin turn green over time.
      If you want something to hold up and not react with peoples skin you have to use silver and gold. You can plate cheaper metals like copper and brass with gold and silver, this will help be the plating will come off over time.
      I hope that helps

    Hi based on your experience, which one is easier to cut, brass sheet or copper sheet? Cause last time i find it hard to cut the copper plate with 1mm thickness.

    • @GomeowCreations
      @GomeowCreations  4 роки тому +1

      Well, to me they are the same but I guess they could be different. Copper will be softer and easier to bend. Brass is a harder metal but it is a little harder to bend as you work. 😅 I do fined sawing to be easy on most metals so I'm not a good person to ask haha.

    hi again, any chance you would make a silver pendant? I'm a graphic designer, but visually impaired, cant do such delicate work anymore, I wish i could see.. what is the difference between copper and brass?? even one of them is good, she a bit allergic to metals that are not pure, i think those would work, its the first time i reach out here, have no idea how to reach you other than here, your items didn't show anything about names making .. I hope its fine to ask here .. many thanks
