The Apache was my favorite video on the trucks. You had a lot to deal with there and it was terrible and you kept at it and kept at it until you solved that problem. That’s what they taught us years ago and a good mechanics will always do safety first and if you don’t want to do that, then you don’t work on their truck And any mechanic that doesn’t agree with that shouldn’t be working on vehicles in my opinion , another great video Dan thank you again for making all these videos. I’m so glad that you’re doing it on your own now. Thanks again, sir. And also these videos are going to help out younger people going into the field by just watching all your videos.!
So many builds could fill this catagory. One of my fav's was the 64 caddy convertible. I remember it coming in packed with leaves and dead rodents etc. But barely enough metal left to hold its debris. You got a donor car and cut those 2 cars apart to make one eye catching caddy in the end. I dont know how you all do it. I am sure the right tools and know how help alot! :)
I’ve been a fan for ever I own every season I can buy the show. My three favorite bills was a yellow and white family delivery van with the LS and the captains chairs that just scooted a boot and the blue and white van or with retractable bike lift that went in the back of the van and the Firebird y’all tame for the guys son, who is crippled, but love the car and the Chevelle build for wounded veterans. The C3 Corvette, with Franco that knew it wasn’t gonna to never be worth what he put into it, but it was his dad. I have a 2000 Chevy pick up extended cab that my dad who’s no longer with me and I have just as much as he had in that vet I’ll never get out of it what I got in it. but it will never be for sale as long as I’m alive. They are not vehicles they are family and memories! Yes I know more then 3 I just wish I could share a picture of my Dad and Mine pickup.
Favorite build, Cadillac Hearst. I'm a Ford guy. But that build was fun to watch. Those folks are crazy as hell. Also liked the other Chrysler cars they had.
"A Perfect Ten" S6:E10, The 70 Opel Kadett, beautiful little car, I had the same car. It was a fun car & I wish l had another one cause mine wasn't as nice as Harrys was. The Citroën was a great show too. Any 66 GTO episode is gold.
I like the methods you use. no matter what you restore or modify it is always safety first. I have been working on cars for over 50 years. If I work on someones car I fix every safety issue or I don't work on it. I learned a lot about restoring old paint from the green Malibu convertable you did. You do amazing work.
I agree with dirtdigger. I can't remember what it is called, but the pogo car that the 2 European women brought in, was the most comical car I remember FantomWorks building.
Was that a Borgerson gear box you guys installed? I put one in my 67 c10 this summer. Everything else in the system was replaced as well with new parts. I still found the new Borgeson box had some slop in it. Borgeson agreed and sent me a new box. Second had the same results. Thinking I might go with a rack and pinion setup.

It is an achievement to stabilize the steering on those trucks. Good job as always.

I don't know about weird, but I do remember those 2 steering nightmares.

Curious why not go to a crossover steering? Just did this to a 72 K5 and wow the difference it made
