If I were to give a Passive to CatNap….. I’d make it to where he starts out slow, but as the game goes on and the Specialists gain momentum and Toy Parts, he collects Data on his Prey and there whereabouts, making him all the more powerful. Passive: Out of the Bag: You start out slow and with Minimal Damage, but as your Prey is distracted and doing their objective, you slowly make them vulnerable. Per each Toy Collected, Gain a 10% Boost in Speed, and a 2% Increase in Damage for the rest of the Encounter.
Cool idea! maybe just to add to fear factor and accuracy to the actual chapter, Perhaps the buff can improve the more you watch players. Kind of like ghost faces mechanic in dead by daylight
@@RiptuhI get what you’re putting down, and although I think a Stealth or Stalker Type Monster would be cool and a breath of fresh air…… the problem is that characters like that aren’t that strong…. Unfortunately it seems all the Stealth Type Killers in DbD are just weak overall, and I fear that will translate over to Project Playtime just the same. I think a Hybrid type Monster that can work as a Stealth Monster, but have Chase Elements integrated into it would be strong and fun. If I were to take what you made, I’d say keep the red smoke abilities and there effects, but make it to where they only have maybe the Children Crying and the Fake Footsteps play out. This game is an Audio Hellscape with the Puzzle Noises already. Then integrate the ‘Copy Cat’ Mechanic into the Smoke where a Fake Nightmare CatNap enters the Room, walks towards the Survivor, and the explodes into Red Gas… This will keep players on there toes as they have to judge if that is the actual CatNap or not. So, what to replace the Copy Cat with? Pounce. Pounce is a Lunge attack that you can charge to go a further distance at the cost of walking slower. In short, Demogorgans Lunge attack. Just that whereas Demo’s Obeys the laws of Gravity, CatNap can use this to get across areas or Squeeze by Doors to keep the chase going. If Pounce hits a Specialist, they have 50% of their health immediately taken away. But of course, this is just my own opinion. All and all, I loved the Concept Video. Keep up the Good Work. :>

Jumpscare should be the actual games jumpscare because messed up behavior wouldn’t make sense unless project playtime takes place during the hour of joy

Monster idea Bunzo Ability 1: musical earbleed, this ability makes bunzo clap his cymbals very loud stunning every single player for 3.5 seconds Ability 2: colorful splash, this ability makes every door have a bucket of paint, you have to grab the paint bucket but if you don’t, when you walk under it, the bucket will spill on you, making you lose a heart Ability 3: puzzle messup, this ability lets bunzo choose any puzzle and mixes it up, if he activates an already finished puzzle or a one with all 3 finished, the toy will be in the puzzle thing again and you gotta re-do the puzzle, Hope u like my idea I guess
@@Anti-Crave_ nah i think it should only be unfinished puzzles and it just resets there progress so you want to finish the puzzle as fast as possible otherwise if bunzo comes he can just restart it but maybe if yoi mess up a puzzle bunzo gets a temp speep and damage boost
@@Anti-Crave_ in case they don’t get added here’s some other abilities: Ambush: replace a certain toy part with a bunzo toy that will stun the player who wins the final puzzle on the pillar, only one can be placed at a time, making you need to be cautious Slam dunk: bunzo hides on the ceiling and when a player falls under bunzo will attack the player until they are downed, but it must be when they rescue a friend, then they join their friends Pit replacement: Instead of whack a wuggy you must survive musical memory, some times Daisy will attack, other times it will be bunzo, and even the mini critters (randomised for each player)
Phase 4: CatNap, Miss Delight, Maybe PJ Pug-a Pillar, Private Matches come back, Nightmare Huggy skin, The Toybox gets fixed, Give people a way to get Playcoins without paying real money for them, More Game modes, 3rd Person camera angle comes back, Purple hand jump pads, spectating comes back, more maps, pull handles get re-added And BTW MotyaGamesTV has an offical clip with Miss Delight and CatNap in Project Playtime.
I don’t know how to really explain it but I thought about this sort of Smiling Critters Plushie monster. It could be like a bunch of mini smiling critters just form a giant “blob” or something. Idk
I just had a dream about catnap in project playtime and fought this video, very good ideas, it could revive the game and make it funnier, i hope this or something similar would be added to catnap
Humor is a very underrated part of project, especially with freinds. Reminds me of lethal company almost, it’s a great game with good horror but the humor can easily overtake that. And I definitely took that into consideration making this move set

if catnap comes i bet it go have ability where they can make the vents give out red gas and make everyone in game hullisnate seeing other monster scaring them and probably the catnap person will get to the sleeping body but if person excapes the nightmare they can wake up and continue and then if they don't escape then catnap player will able to kill him while there sleep and stuck CLEARER INFO: what if catnap ability is to make vents give out poppy gas and everyone in game have to find gas mask but if they don't find one in 20 seconds they will fall asleep and be stuck in nightmare until they escape the nightmare by find exit while running away from huggy or mommy or anyone actually that is monster but if player hasn't woken up and the ones who are sleeping will give catnap aka the player to locate the bodys and take them
I hope CatNap actually gets added, because that would be very cool to see him in action. I feel like there were a lot of attacks he could’ve done in the original game they left out, like he barley got screen time lol.
I personally think the mini critters seen in the play house could be used to alert catnap where players are or maybe do some damage but uhh that’s just my thought
also i might be getting ahead of myself but Miss Delight feels like she'd be so damn powerful in Project. Literally all she has to do is just exist and it makes all the other monsters' jobs that much easier.

The idea of him spawning clones I think is a very good idea. I disagree that catnap would be a slow character. He would likely be as fast as huggy buggy and that smoke like you said it would damage your players appearance also making them dizzy that is my add on.
I really like the ideas presented in this video for CatNap and think it would be a great change of pace for Project: Playtime, especially after the bewildering launch of Phase 3, which I believe ruined the game. Hopefully, they will revert all of the changes made in that update when Phase 4 comes out, but that is a whole other can of worms I do not want to get into.

@@mangotheclown yeah it’s a pretty cool design, I prefer normal Catnap but for what chapter 3 was going for with exaggerated nightmares. The fake catnap fit the theme perfectly

Yea I kinda when I was thinking about Catnap being in Project Playtime his second attack would be like the red gas that fill up the room so players don't exacly know where to go or just make red smoke to be a poison gas that do damage and if you don't leave the area u will fall but I mostly like the first idea.
oh and when the smoke is up if the Catnap is normaly slow in red smoke it will have a little speed boost just to balance his hunting skills and all that
1:16 I think the spectate thing is because of teamers perhaps, imagine you're in a public lobby, and you're the monster, and you kill someone that's in a call with another person from the lobby, that person will know exactly where you are, since their dead friend can watch their back (I never played poppy playtime so idk if that's how it works, just rlly saying how most games treat spectating)
if we follow how the other monsters abilities are , i think cat nap would be really bad as a monster at the start , but he will have a gas attack which will fill up the whole map and make him transform into hallucination cat nap which will be insanely powerful. The specialist will have to fix the sabotase in order to get the smoke to go away , which will return cat nap to its original form
I think it would make sense for red smoke to increase damage the player takes, it would be like a damage vulnerability debuff on top of other debuffs that makes catnap deal above average damage output to players who has been exposed to the gas for a long amount of time
And they could also make the hallucination huggy a skin for huggy and I’m also thinking another ability that cat nap could have would be to play sound little smiling Critters kind of like huggy and the mini Huggies or replace the clone with the smiling critters it would be like the smiling critters are chasing the player because in the game it says that the smiling critters follow catnap around so they don’t get killed so they would probably help cat nap also just an idea though.
bet: its just like the first time their leaving for a long time than coming back to work on it with a big update one phase: one update: one monster (also when catnaps in a map it should dim down like sweet home so you could turn around and see him staring at you)
I think a good 2 abilities for catnap would be gas and shrink, gas would down everyone in a small radius and shrink would allow you to become tiny like dash through doors as there all out closed and go through tiny holes

I like that idea for the gas mechanic, people are saying it’s overpowered but underestimate how long it could take for a bad catnap player to get a single kill 😭. So your idea works really well and gives his claw attack more use than just being there
I'd say something you can do for the horror effect, is when in a 'nightmare' after being in a room with the gas for too long, you could hear fake footsteps near you, that only you hear specifically. I'd also find it cool if when standing in the gas for around 15/20 secs, you could get marked on the CatNap player's screen, as a potential target.
Cool idea I think would work When someone enters the gas they slow down 25 percent aswell as 1 or 2 nightmare catnaps spawning with ai to try and kill them These will only target whoes in the smoke 10 seconds after you leave the smoke they'll disappear

An alternative to the Catnap Clones I would really like to see (but I don't know how balanced it'd be, I haven't played Project Playtime and have only watched gameplay) is having mini Smiling Critters as these minions that spawn as the match progresses; the more toy pieces the Specialists collect, the more Smiling Critters spawn. They would roam the map at random, but stay away from places where it'd be broken RNG for them to be (such as right in front of the train or something). They have these little red cones of vision and if a player gets "seen" by a Smiling Critter, it shrieks (alerting other nearby Smiling Critters and Catnap himself) and follows them, trying to attack them. It would do miniscule amounts of damage if you get hit (next to none), but it'd rack up if you're getting beaten up by many of them at once. They're really small and can fit through even player-sized paths and doorways, but the player could slap them away with their grab packs to slow them down and get away from them. Another interaction I thought of is that Catnap's gas could spawn fake Smiling Critters in the gassed up rooms and such, that would "shriek" (but not make any actual noise or alert Catnap) and trick the player into thinking they've been "seen." They would then run away, theoretically right into Catnap or an ACTUAL Smiling Critter or something.
It would only be a shriek, and wouldn't like show on the map where the shriek was, so Catnap would have to be within hearing range of the Smiling Critter's shriek to be able to know where the chase is going down. However, other Smiling Critters don't have that problem, and if they're in a close enough radius, they will converge on that location. They'll only chase you if they or another Smiling Critter can "see" you in its limited red cone of vision though.
Yeah I didn't want it to be like the mini huggys but i also thought it'd be so cool for catnap to have dogshit damage but also he has minions that ALSO do dogshit damage 😂
Maybe for an ability. He would be really slow and HAVE to stalk a player before being able to go fast. They would watch someone and be slow and a bar would fill up after watching someone for a period of time. Then they can go VERY fast (as fast as huggys charge) and be able to one shot players. If the bar is not filled there attack wouldn't do as much damage and they'd still be slow.
I think that they should make CatNap only noticeable by his breath, And very quietly footsteps. He could grab the victim (Player) and ''Suck'' it's blood (Ew vampire CatNap) until it dies. And also they should add skins, Like: - Nightmare CatNap (It can also be an ability that if the player puts the mask a bit after the gas is released, He would see Nightmare CatNap like in the boss fight and also as a ability to you get stronger for 10 seconds.) - Vampire CatNap - Ghost CatNap - Robot CatNap - Doll CatNap (No, Like the doll Mommy skin thing) That would be cool, But not trying to say your ideas are bad, Just adding some extra ideas.
My idea is like you'res but instead the gas blinds the players and damage them weakly (60 second cooldown, and yes I know this makes the blind sabotage or whatever useless)
For the first move I agree with you on the gas fillling the whole room in an instant and all that stuff but I think the second move will be like huggy’s where he spawns one of the smiling critters dolls and they will chase someone and perhaps even put them in one of the basments
I’m not sure if you’ll read this or not. But I’d also want to share my opinion on how CatNap will works. In Ch3 CatNap is generally slow, but almost no footsteps sound, but while he’s still in the nightmare form, his footsteps is LOUD. So i suggest normally CatNap will walks slower and his footstep sound is very very soft, and when in nightmare form it’s still slow, but loud footstep. Regarding to the gas, I think instead of actually damaging players, the gas will stack up a new effect called ‘Slumber’, when the stack is full the player will just full asleep and CatNap can take him out. And the lower the player’s health, the easier the effect will stack. The first skill will stack the effect faster than the 2nd one but will still take maybe one first skill will stack 75% of the effect? Now the 2nd skill will also have a new effect ‘Hallucination’ which when it’s fully stack, players will see a fake gas CatNap, similar to what happened in main game. Due to this the ‘Slumber’ effect will take a significantly longer time to fully stack it. Jeez it’s a long comment and you might even not see it so it’s a waste of my time lol

Also love the loud footstep idea, but it would give catnap away so loud footsteps + fake footstep sound effects would be perfect
I like your ideas for how he catnap could work but I have a good idea for how to "counter" the gas ability so you know about those "mask skins" well they could add a gas mask ability for the specialists that they could put it on once they see or are about to walk in to gas, but you can only have it on for a certain amount of time before taking it of and going on cooldown and you could use those mask skins already in the game to "change your mask." Note: you can still do puzzles and pick up toy parts while using the gas mask but your pov would be shortened and you can't go into third person.
I like the idea of Catnap in the game. But an idea I had was what if Pp (Project Playtime) Pulled a lethal company and any drugged character sees an ai catnap that insta knocks em. Like your idea of the copycats but you don't have to spawn em in when their drugged.
Seems fair enough, an auto knock would be a little wild in my opinion but I was thinking about the copy cats speeding up the sleeping process when they catch you. As for the auto ai’s. It really doesn’t matter but i’d rather the ability to place them so I can strategically (🤓☝️) lure someone into an area or defend a certain point
I've been a player of Project Playtime player since Day 1, and MAN is it painful to see the game in a state like this. Y'know Phase 2 when it was released it truly was the peak of the game; it started to have a real original identity and actually standing out against the games of the same genre like Dead by Daylight or the 'Dead by Day-likes' while still being actually really fun! But then Phase 3 released and oh wow what a catastrophic event; train station being removed, a bunch of new systems that no one wanted and so much more stuff that makes it look light almost like if the Devs wanted PJPT to look like DbD, but no that's just not what we want! Thing is that before this game released I used to play DbD all the time (currently have 200 hours put into it) and then when it released I just loved the game! Sure it was buggy as hell on launch but it was still very fun and original! But then.. here we are now. I'm now still playing DbD because it's just.. so much better than whatever Project is right now. Thing is, I do believe this game can have a great future. The Devs have SHOWN us that they can cook top-tier stuff, Chapter 3 was an absolute banger! So now that Ch.3 is out of their way basically, I REALLY hope PJPT will get the attention it deserves from the Devs.
i think for his attack cat nap should have one big swipe that does like 75HP and it would be cool if players can find gas masks aroud the map or get them when you deposit a part so that cat nap cant just smoke the tube room and the players just die edit: to counter the mask skin if cat nap is picked the game should just take it off or give them like 10s-15s to swap it
imma give like a idea that could be that da red smoke is a stun move that while you stunned it shows like a dream/nightmare like in-game when catnap kills you.
You should make a video about Chapter 3 Huggy wuggy , like a skin idea or just its own character with its own ability (appearing out out of screens for example)
I imagine catnap will have a gas attack that causes players to see fake monsters like a nightmare huggy, nightmare mommy or nightmare catnap. I could also see them giving the player a gas mask and a shock green glove and you can find charge pads around the map to stun the big purple cat for a few seconds to a minute
the description somewhat reminds me of Michael Myer's mechanic in DB where you stalk your prey to get stronger and play with your food until your time to strike comes in
One idea I had is if a player is in the gas they actually couldn’t see catnap and he would be invisible to the person in the gas till the player leaves the gas
I think a good ability for catnap would be to send the smiling critter plushie things to go and attack you and everytime you get caught by one you lose a bit of your health but you can shoot them away with the fire gun hand
You have to remember that catnap can actually walk on walls. In the final chase he walks up the elevator wall and he starts walking on the ceiling. So thats something to keep in mind

I think another good idea for what happens when you are under the effect of the gas, is to see things that arent there. Like there will be fake catnaps that will rush you, but when they get close enough they dissapear.
I've been thinking about gas hallucinations since I saw this video, this is what came to mind: **How to read this dumb thing i wrote:** **Basic Premise. │ How they suppose to work.** **───────────┴───────────────────** **Notes** Tiit or invert the camera. Similar to what happens in 12:37-13:23. This effect can be difficult to make, but it will be very annoying and confusing 8/10 Thinking they have been hit. The bloddy effect show up, the EKG life goes down, and about 3-4 seconds it revert. This effect can only UI so it's easy to implement, can confuse player while making a puzzle and make a premtive escape leaving the puzzle incomplete, but if they decide to wait to see if it's an hallucination the real CatNap can take advantage and make another hit, however for third person it can be neccsary a fake CatNap as well 9/10 Fake jumpscare. The jumpscare plays but it vanish before it ends similar to a phantom jumpscare from FNAF 3. I'll give it a maybe 6/10 Lag. About 1-2 seconds your controls don't get detected, but in reality the game still keeps while you're doing. Disorienting, but very overpowered considering you have to deal with this and the real lag 4/10
I always thought Catnap could spray out smaller smoke clouds that linger and deal damage to people if they are stupid enough to walk in it but filling a huge area with smoke works too
@@Riptuh Yeah I forgot to mention that the idea of filling the entire room with smoke for a more on edge atmosphere is cool but think of how much the game might lag every time it happens 😅
9:03 Okay, but hear me out. Regular skins like recolours don't change Hypnogogic (Nightmare version) Catnap but Legendary skins do. I also think two good Legendary skins would turn him into a Bigger Body version of Candy Cat and Catbee, as a simple way of including the two without having to make a monster from scratch. Wouldn't even be hard for the Hypnogogic form either, just change up the face, change the moon pendant, and add details like a long tongue for Candy Cat, and wings and antennae for Catbee. There should probably be a Pirate/salior skin 'cause of the Duck ride. I think maybe the Playcare Toystore should also be made a map, maybe you can it give it a makeshift Prototype-worship church like in the original beta for chapter 3, heck, you can have it bleed into the cave system for a unique environment compared to the other maps.

If he ends up being bad i would make gassed players take boosted damage and catnap have boosted movement speed when in gassed rooms
skins can be the other critters and the skellie form can be a side effect from red smoke attacks

Ability 1: musical earbleed, this ability makes bunzo clap his cymbals very loud stunning every single player for 3.5 seconds
Ability 2: colorful splash, this ability makes every door have a bucket of paint, you have to grab the paint bucket but if you don’t, when you walk under it, the bucket will spill on you, making you lose a heart
Ability 3: puzzle messup, this ability lets bunzo choose any puzzle and mixes it up, if he activates an already finished puzzle or a one with all 3 finished, the toy will be in the puzzle thing again and you gotta re-do the puzzle,

@@Anti-Crave_ in case they don’t get added here’s some other abilities: Ambush: replace a certain toy part with a bunzo toy that will stun the player who wins the final puzzle on the pillar, only one can be placed at a time, making you need to be cautious
Slam dunk: bunzo hides on the ceiling and when a player falls under bunzo will attack the player until they are downed, but it must be when they rescue a friend, then they join their friends
Pit replacement: Instead of whack a wuggy you must survive musical memory, some times Daisy will attack, other times it will be bunzo, and even the mini critters (randomised for each player)

Humor is a very underrated part of project, especially with freinds. Reminds me of lethal company almost, it’s a great game with good horror but the humor can easily overtake that. And I definitely took that into consideration making this move set

if catnap comes i bet it go have ability where they can make the vents give out red gas and make everyone in game hullisnate seeing other monster scaring them and probably the catnap person will get to the sleeping body but if person excapes the nightmare they can wake up and continue and then if they don't escape then catnap player will able to kill him while there sleep and stuck

The idea of him spawning clones I think is a very good idea. I disagree that catnap would be a slow character. He would likely be as fast as huggy buggy and that smoke like you said it would damage your players appearance also making them dizzy that is my add on.

I really like the ideas presented in this video for CatNap and think it would be a great change of pace for Project: Playtime, especially after the bewildering launch of Phase 3, which I believe ruined the game. Hopefully, they will revert all of the changes made in that update when Phase 4 comes out, but that is a whole other can of worms I do not want to get into.

1:16 I think the spectate thing is because of teamers perhaps, imagine you're in a public lobby, and you're the monster, and you kill someone that's in a call with another person from the lobby, that person will know exactly where you are, since their dead friend can watch their back (I never played poppy playtime so idk if that's how it works, just rlly saying how most games treat spectating)
As long as you can’t spectate the monster it should be alright, I see project as more of a party game it doesn’t have to be that serious

if we follow how the other monsters abilities are , i think cat nap would be really bad as a monster at the start , but he will have a gas attack which will fill up the whole map and make him transform into hallucination cat nap which will be insanely powerful. The specialist will have to fix the sabotase in order to get the smoke to go away , which will return cat nap to its original form

I think it would make sense for red smoke to increase damage the player takes, it would be like a damage vulnerability debuff on top of other debuffs that makes catnap deal above average damage output to players who has been exposed to the gas for a long amount of time

I think a good 2 abilities for catnap would be gas and shrink, gas would down everyone in a small radius and shrink would allow you to become tiny like dash through doors as there all out closed and go through tiny holes

I like that idea for the gas mechanic, people are saying it’s overpowered but underestimate how long it could take for a bad catnap player to get a single kill 😭. So your idea works really well and gives his claw attack more use than just being there
I'd say something you can do for the horror effect, is when in a 'nightmare' after being in a room with the gas for too long, you could hear fake footsteps near you, that only you hear specifically.
I'd also find it cool if when standing in the gas for around 15/20 secs, you could get marked on the CatNap player's screen, as a potential target.
The marking system sounds cool, might be necessary if catnap is to underpowered

When someone enters the gas they slow down 25 percent aswell as 1 or 2 nightmare catnaps spawning with ai to try and kill them

An alternative to the Catnap Clones I would really like to see (but I don't know how balanced it'd be, I haven't played Project Playtime and have only watched gameplay) is having mini Smiling Critters as these minions that spawn as the match progresses; the more toy pieces the Specialists collect, the more Smiling Critters spawn.
They would roam the map at random, but stay away from places where it'd be broken RNG for them to be (such as right in front of the train or something). They have these little red cones of vision and if a player gets "seen" by a Smiling Critter, it shrieks (alerting other nearby Smiling Critters and Catnap himself) and follows them, trying to attack them. It would do miniscule amounts of damage if you get hit (next to none), but it'd rack up if you're getting beaten up by many of them at once.
They're really small and can fit through even player-sized paths and doorways, but the player could slap them away with their grab packs to slow them down and get away from them.
Another interaction I thought of is that Catnap's gas could spawn fake Smiling Critters in the gassed up rooms and such, that would "shriek" (but not make any actual noise or alert Catnap) and trick the player into thinking they've been "seen." They would then run away, theoretically right into Catnap or an ACTUAL Smiling Critter or something.
It would only be a shriek, and wouldn't like show on the map where the shriek was, so Catnap would have to be within hearing range of the Smiling Critter's shriek to be able to know where the chase is going down.
However, other Smiling Critters don't have that problem, and if they're in a close enough radius, they will converge on that location. They'll only chase you if they or another Smiling Critter can "see" you in its limited red cone of vision though.
That last part is smart as hell, I love this idea. I just tried avoiding the small critters in my concept for the sake of huggys mini huggy ability

Maybe for an ability. He would be really slow and HAVE to stalk a player before being able to go fast. They would watch someone and be slow and a bar would fill up after watching someone for a period of time. Then they can go VERY fast (as fast as huggys charge) and be able to one shot players. If the bar is not filled there attack wouldn't do as much damage and they'd still be slow.
Maybe not one shot but being able to attack faster during that would fit, I like the idea. Reminds me of ghost face in dead by daylight

I think that they should make CatNap only noticeable by his breath, And very quietly footsteps. He could grab the victim (Player) and ''Suck'' it's blood (Ew vampire CatNap) until it dies. And also they should add skins, Like:
- Nightmare CatNap (It can also be an ability that if the player puts the mask a bit after the gas is released, He would see Nightmare CatNap like in the boss fight and also as a ability to you get stronger for 10 seconds.)
- Vampire CatNap
- Ghost CatNap
- Robot CatNap
- Doll CatNap (No, Like the doll Mommy skin thing)

I’m not sure if you’ll read this or not. But I’d also want to share my opinion on how CatNap will works.
In Ch3 CatNap is generally slow, but almost no footsteps sound, but while he’s still in the nightmare form, his footsteps is LOUD. So i suggest normally CatNap will walks slower and his footstep sound is very very soft, and when in nightmare form it’s still slow, but loud footstep.
Regarding to the gas, I think instead of actually damaging players, the gas will stack up a new effect called ‘Slumber’, when the stack is full the player will just full asleep and CatNap can take him out. And the lower the player’s health, the easier the effect will stack. The first skill will stack the effect faster than the 2nd one but will still take maybe one first skill will stack 75% of the effect?
Now the 2nd skill will also have a new effect ‘Hallucination’ which when it’s fully stack, players will see a fake gas CatNap, similar to what happened in main game. Due to this the ‘Slumber’ effect will take a significantly longer time to fully stack it.

I like your ideas for how he catnap could work but I have a good idea for how to "counter" the gas ability so you know about those "mask skins" well they could add a gas mask ability for the specialists that they could put it on once they see or are about to walk in to gas, but you can only have it on for a certain amount of time before taking it of and going on cooldown and you could use those mask skins already in the game to "change your mask."
Note: you can still do puzzles and pick up toy parts while using the gas mask but your pov would be shortened and you can't go into third person.
Although I was avoiding the mask, this sounds cool
I like the idea of Catnap in the game. But an idea I had was what if Pp (Project Playtime) Pulled a lethal company and any drugged character sees an ai catnap that insta knocks em. Like your idea of the copycats but you don't have to spawn em in when their drugged.
Seems fair enough, an auto knock would be a little wild in my opinion but I was thinking about the copy cats speeding up the sleeping process when they catch you. As for the auto ai’s. It really doesn’t matter but i’d rather the ability to place them so I can strategically (🤓☝️) lure someone into an area or defend a certain point

I've been a player of Project Playtime player since Day 1, and MAN is it painful to see the game in a state like this.
Y'know Phase 2 when it was released it truly was the peak of the game; it started to have a real original identity and actually standing out against the games of the same genre like Dead by Daylight or the 'Dead by Day-likes' while still being actually really fun!
But then Phase 3 released and oh wow what a catastrophic event; train station being removed, a bunch of new systems that no one wanted and so much more stuff that makes it look light almost like if the Devs wanted PJPT to look like DbD, but no that's just not what we want!
Thing is that before this game released I used to play DbD all the time (currently have 200 hours put into it) and then when it released I just loved the game! Sure it was buggy as hell on launch but it was still very fun and original! But then.. here we are now. I'm now still playing DbD because it's just.. so much better than whatever Project is right now.
Thing is, I do believe this game can have a great future. The Devs have SHOWN us that they can cook top-tier stuff, Chapter 3 was an absolute banger!
So now that Ch.3 is out of their way basically, I REALLY hope PJPT will get the attention it deserves from the Devs.
Believe it or not the devs started working on the game again this month on the 9th, so they’re definitely making a comeback

I think a good ability for catnap would be to send the smiling critter plushie things to go and attack you and everytime you get caught by one you lose a bit of your health but you can shoot them away with the fire gun hand
You have to remember that catnap can actually walk on walls. In the final chase he walks up the elevator wall and he starts walking on the ceiling. So thats something to keep in mind

I've been thinking about gas hallucinations since I saw this video, this is what came to mind:

This effect can be difficult to make, but it will be very annoying and confusing 8/10
Thinking they have been hit. The bloddy effect show up, the EKG life goes down, and about 3-4 seconds it revert.
This effect can only UI so it's easy to implement, can confuse player while making a puzzle and make a premtive escape leaving the puzzle incomplete, but if they decide to wait to see if it's an hallucination the real CatNap can take advantage and make another hit, however for third person it can be neccsary a fake CatNap as well 9/10
Fake jumpscare. The jumpscare plays but it vanish before it ends similar to a phantom jumpscare from FNAF 3.
I'll give it a maybe 6/10
Lag. About 1-2 seconds your controls don't get detected, but in reality the game still keeps while you're doing.
Disorienting, but very overpowered considering you have to deal with this and the real lag 4/10

I always thought Catnap could spray out smaller smoke clouds that linger and deal damage to people if they are stupid enough to walk in it but filling a huge area with smoke works too
It might have to go by smoke clouds, the room idea is a little outrages
@@Riptuh Yeah I forgot to mention that the idea of filling the entire room with smoke for a more on edge atmosphere is cool but think of how much the game might lag every time it happens 😅

9:03 Okay, but hear me out. Regular skins like recolours don't change Hypnogogic (Nightmare version) Catnap but Legendary skins do.
I also think two good Legendary skins would turn him into a Bigger Body version of Candy Cat and Catbee, as a simple way of including the two without having to make a monster from scratch. Wouldn't even be hard for the Hypnogogic form either, just change up the face, change the moon pendant, and add details like a long tongue for Candy Cat, and wings and antennae for Catbee.
There should probably be a Pirate/salior skin 'cause of the Duck ride.
I think maybe the Playcare Toystore should also be made a map, maybe you can it give it a makeshift Prototype-worship church like in the original beta for chapter 3, heck, you can have it bleed into the cave system for a unique environment compared to the other maps.
I would say that’s to much effort, but some of the skins in this game really do go all out. So this isn’t to far fetched
I think that the ability for catnap would be gas that could slow the players down
