Choosing gear looks very intimidating. Knowing what to bring, and how to pack it is another big skill. You really do have a great inventory of stuff here! Seems wise to buy and try out gear on short overnighters, before taking it on big demanding hikes!
Dr. Bonner's "peppermint" soap, it's the most refreshing soap I have ever tried and you don't end up smelling like a candy cane but u will tingle for a few after the shower. Love that brand of soap! So I just subscribed to your channel but noticed it's been 9 months since this, your last, video. Do you plan on still bringing us along on your outings or have you decided to wrap up your youtube endeavors?
@@Godisgreater123 In most of the mountain hikes I've done, the only trees around are pine trees, with branches that don't really allow for a proper hang. IMO it'd be pointless trying to hang from a tree like that. Instead, I use OpSaks. 4500+ miles hiked and never ONE animal interested in my food.

Thanks for the informative video! Really glad to learn of the Burrow 40, exactly what I'm looking for. Quality comes at a cost for sure. Would you say it's better to get it in a length that's shorter or taller than your body?
I would get something shorter than your body. That's typically how the quilts come. I'm a warm sleeper though. If I'm cold, I just put on a hat or use my fleece hoodie. The hoodie is also my pillow. I can use the hood portion of the hoodie around my head while also using the rest of the jacket as a pillow.

Goof point, I'll keep that in mind for my next gear video. I've done two more pack loadouts since this one with updated gear, but due for another.
