- Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer has commended Donald Trump for showing “American grit” after being shot.
Former US president Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at his rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Despite sustaining an injury to his ear from a flying bullet, the former president is still expected to attend the Republican National Convention on Tuesday.
“The reason that they [the left] are upset is that he showed strength, he showed perseverance, he showed American grit.
“Donald Trump never got knocked down; he stayed up and he showed why Americans love a fighter.”

If Trump will pick Nikki Haley, his former ambassador to the United Nation, to be his VP candidate, as I believe he will pick, the voters will compare Trump to Biden and Nikki Haley to Kamala Harris.
