Ya know I'm usually against the idea of making spin off series for side characters. While I recognize in some instances they can work and work really well, I've always been of the opinion that the vast majority of the time the reason side characters are so beloved is BECAUSE of how little time we get to spend with them.
Taking away that core aspect of a character can be detrimental if done poorly. That being said, I'd absolutely love to see a prequel series revolving around Quanxi and Kishibe's early days as devil hunters. Especially after reading the side story novel "Buddy Stories," for the manga.
But the fact that including the Omake( side story) and the extra light novel,they have a tragic relationship. Even it's clearly in the buddy stories within the triangle love 🥲

That's cool. I'll try but old Kishibe is likely not to be fit with the city pop genres. Maybe rock or heavy metal would be better.
