Tecnically, UTY isn't a AU, AU is about the same story with different placement or characters with different personalities, this is a idea of a prequel with original characters
Probably because UTY is 100% already done and has It's own full fangame and soundtrack unlike most AUs which some facts are confusing by headcanons of people and have multiple fangames with different songs.
Nobody can say this is the wrong song because It is the only song of Undertale Yellow, so no comments being annoyed from that.

@@gabrielbarron7667 I mean, considering a good deal of its music is derivative of Undertale's (Enemy Approaching being the most common example), it feels like it wouldn't make for a substantially original musical. It's more likely to get the Deltarune treatment.

This cover is fantastic, and I really hope there are more UTY songs, but I'm a little worried that the comments might lower the chances of that. I'm seeing a lot of comments asking for an entire Undertale Yellow musical, which would probably be a lot of work from MOTI. I'm perfectly fine, and extremely happy, if we just get a few UTY songs, something like a Bytes package. Even only one or two more are fine. Whatever direction MOTI takes these songs, I'd be thankful.
