A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PERFORMER(S):
Josh Gilbert is both a working musician/band and ministry that seeks to reach people outside the 4 walls of the church. His sound incorporates a mix of Acoustic/CCM/Worship and a little Blues/Pop-Rock/Americana. Josh and his band tour the United States, performing full time and are in a position to share Jesus through music to a wide variety of audiences - both Christian and non-Christian. We work with many secular organizations and businesses, that allow us to play music for them, and give us the opportunity to exert a positive influence within many non-Christian circles, as well as share the Gospel to the un-churched - those who need to hear the message. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel, and share our faith-filled music. Consider partnering with us in a variety of ways to reach the lost, we greatly value your support!
Josh’s new Worship release is scheduled to debut this year, and includes new song “Child Of The King”, which is about our position as Children of God, being adopted into His Kingdom through the power of Jesus Christ - a beautiful and fulfilling truth that we are heirs of His Kingdom as believers, and this is something we didn’t earn or deserve - but ours to claim as a gift because of His death and resurrection.
“No More Condemnation” is also set to release this year, and is a song of restoration inspired by Romans 8:1-2. This worship song proclaims the truth that when we are in Christ, there is no more condemnation because Jesus’ sacrifice sets us free from sin and death. We should not allow anything to hinder us from coming to Him - not letting shame or our past, or what we’ve done wrong or sinful affect our coming to Jesus and laying it all at His feet. He is our salvation and our only healing from our sin and shortcomings.
“Sweet Little Place”, Josh’s 2018 single, is about staying together as a family, even when times get tough - a real story about taking risks and challenges in life as a family unit - and no matter where life takes you, we’ve always got a sweet little place together that we call ‘home’.
“Shelter Of Love“ is inspired by a true story about how God spared Josh and his band but touring van got destroyed a few years back, when a tornado outbreak happened in Tennessee.
Some Highlights: Josh’s first CCM Radio single, “Separate Us”, debuted on Billboard Soft A/C Radio at #12 in 2015 and also received a Dove award nomination. Josh Gilbert’s recent worship song: “Holy Spirit Come” , was placed on a Grammy ballot nomination in 2016 for vocal performance category. Josh has recently worked with producer Jason Hoard (credits are among National Christian music acts such as Third Day, Mac Powell, Natalie Grant, Casting Crowns and many others).
Josh has a heart for people of all walks of life and generations; sharing his authentic testimony -full of trials, failures and storms of life (even a real tornado which destroyed his band’s tour van at one point) - “…One truth remains: no matter the situation, we can trust in God - He is the only one who restores all things in the midst of brokenness.” Josh and his family currently reside in Chattanooga, TN area.
