- Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the border of the Indian state of Goa and Karnataka. The splendid Dudhsagar Waterfall is perched in the lofty peaks of the Western Ghats and is a view to observe especially in the monsoons when it is in full and furious flow. This video was taken during heavy monsoon. Don't miss to visit Dudhsagar water falls once in your life time. Please carry food along with you as this place doesn't have food, drinking water & restaurants. What a great location, like heaven. Please visit during south west monsoon during July and August.

A lot of Water! I filmed at this place during a Jeep trip in December and there was only few water. Must be interesting to reah this place by train.
+Merbi Video Reisefilme aus aller Welt yes, initially I also thought like that , but I found that train is the best to reach Dudhsagar falls during monsoon time, never miss the opportunity of visiting falls during your life time. It's heaven during monsoon time .
You must have gone after December. Jeeps are not allowed during monsoon time. I took this video during peak of monsoon. Go during monsoon time, train is the only option during monsoon time.
V beautiful place MashaAllah ,I m pakistani and wish to visit india some day inshAllah ,pakistani notheran area's are v beautiful too ,because its in the same region , beautiful places attracts me so much,my forefathers were indian before partition ,they tells the stories of shimla ,goa and some other wonderful places like these

If you are planning to visit Goa then Dudhsagar is 70 kms from Vasco. From Vasco catch hold of Amaravati exp leaving Vasco at 07:10 am and reaching Dudhsagar at 09:00 am. Please remember Dudhsagar is not an official stop but for break checking train stops for a minute. Please get down at Dudhsagar and go around and return by Amaravati exp which comes at 12:13 pm and reaches Vaso at 3:15 PM. Please make local enquries also. Monsoon is a right time to go to Dudh sagar, between JUly and September. Enjoy the trip.

Thanks for watching. The video was taken on July 27,2013. Where are you from ? You can get down at Dudhsagar from any train coming either from Madagaon and Londa during day time. Though Dudhsagar is not an official stop the train stops here for a minute or two for break checkup. If you are going only to Dudhsagar water falls then here is the plan. Go by Chennai Vasco exp which leaves on Fridays at Yesvantpur Junction 09:35 pm and reaches Castle Rock, Karnataka at 09:20 am next day. Braganza ghat section starts from
Castle Rock and ends at Kulem. Dudhsagar waterfalls is 14.5 kms from Castle Rock. There is no official stop at Dudhsagar
station. The train reaches Dudhsagar station around 10:15 am. For break check up the train halts for a minute or two minutes ,
and you have to get down. Once you go there you come to know everything. You can take pics and videos around water falls,
but be careful with water as there is a heavy flow on water. There is a "U" turn on the track which takes you to the other side of
the fall where you can see the full falls and the rail bridge where the water flows underneath the bridge. This place is called View point.
From this point you can take a video of Amaravati exp which crosses the falls any time from 12:15 PM. You can take a beautiful
video from this point and also croossing the view point. Your return train is at 04:35 pm to Bangalore from Dudhsagar.

Yaa thank a lot for information, but what I planned was I would take Goa express form londa which give technical halt at dhudsagar at around 03:30 am does it works
Break test is nothing but technical halt. Since you are going by gang you can also go by Goa exp which reaches at 03:30am. Be careful till dawn. Take an Umbrella, small torch light , water bottles and some fruits and breads to eat. All the best for your trip. Please send pictures and videos.
