We rode along with engineer John Kittredge as he piloted the Cape Cod Central's scenic train over the former New Haven tracks on Cape Cod, between Hyannis and Bourne, in 2018.
@@mikechapman1721 knew that would strike a chord with someone. Great place. Haven't been able to find a replacement with the same ambience. Btw, you're welcome 😊.
This is cool, but may I suggest, if you ever have time to do, to post the whole trip, un editted, even if it's pretty long. It's a unique viewpoint not many peope get to see, and to share the whole thing would be cool.
I actually hadn't planned on recording much at all! The ride was in exchange for a photo I let them use in a brochure. But at the last minute I pulled out the iPhone and started shooting. It's the old "video the trip or enjoy the ride", so this was a balance.
Fantastic. Thanks so much !!!!
What engine are we riding in?
Pretty nice railroad!
So cool, another great video Mike!
Always enjoyed seeing it pass by the old Beehive.
Aww...the Beehive! I'm old enough to remember when it was "The First Edition". Thanks for the memory!

@@owensweetland342 We are big fans of The Sagamore Inn. The new owners kept what was good and just added to it. Our fave!
@@mikechapmanmedia2291 Thanks. Will look into it.
@@mikechapmanmedia2291 The Riverside ( Middleboro) & Lindsey's are two bygone gems.
Is the train actually a passenger commuter or scenic ?
