Thanks for this. One mistake there though at 21:11. The y - x part, you actually drew the wrong vector (blue one). You went down 6 and 5 left, instead of 6 left, down 5. That's why it wasn't completely parallel to x - y. But I think most people here got the message anyway, so it doesn't matter :)

isn't the vector(a) supposed to extend -1 on the vertical axis and +2 on the horizontal axis
    because of
    y/x
but in this example he seems to invert it, therefore x/y?

In higher dimensions we quickly run out of letters, for example how would you represent a point in 10 dimensions? (x,y,z,w,u,v,.. ). It becomes hard to keep track of so many letters.
It's more convenient to index coordinates using a subscript for the position of the coordinate. Now a point in 10 dimension is easy to write down.
      (x1, x2, x3, ... x9, x10).

How many points of view do you need to see the entire surface of a four dimensional sphere?
    A 3D sphere needs 2 pov, a 2D sphere needs 1 pov (I assume); so I'm guessing the answer is 3.
I just don't know if the question means anything.
