There is something called "Soul Tie" and its a terrible spiritual and emotional entanglement. It persists years after a relationship has ended. The person who has the soul tie and is more affected by it should be intentional about breaking it and prayerfully too. It is best to end all forms of physical and emotional contacts with the person.
