Does DJI Mavic Air 2s return to controller, make the drone return to control or last home point.

Flying a drone from the land and from a boat have some distinct differences. DJI offers an option to return to controller when updating the home point. What does that mean exactly?
This video was a test we did to see if my Mavic Air 2s would follow the controller when it was told to go home OR would it rather go to the last updated homepoint.

it needs to follow the controller.

All you had to do was look at your map. If your blue controller dot is not near your yellow home point dot, you have a problem.

In other words it does not follow the controller at all. It justs goes to the new point you set. That's no good. It should be designed to constantly follow the controller. Quick question - Do you know a menu option to turn off return to home before you actually start a flight? Thanks.
